Okay here is the (by my standards) very small teaser of Black Crusade 10-2. Work just began yesterday, so I didn't have to write much more.

Writing will go ahead for the next two weeks.

Enjoy!

Yay new teaser a day early due to time zone differences. We will somewhat (probably) wait patiently as long as you need us too, for a new teaser. Corax’s speech was also well done by the way.

yay new words what a way to wake up in the morning coffee in hand and a black crusade to read about.

The T-Rex must eat the Stegosaurus, the sudden but inevitable betrayal

Matt.Silver

You thought you betrayed me? Fool! I betrayed you into betraying me, which means you didn't betray me! You were merely the betrayed! Also, I remember something about Obscurus Forge Worlds screaming for a counter to Hel-drakes, so I'm guessing that they bought as many Dragon Armors as possible. Is it finally time to see them in action? In first person that is, since I don't think we've had a perspective from a dragon armor pilot yet.

I noticed that Corvus Corrax didn’t mention either Fulgrim or Magnus during the first section, is this because Fulgrim due to being possessed didn’t betray the Imperium and Magnus at the time of Istvann V had not betrayed the Imperium yet, or is for something else?

Thanks. Next teaser or update) will still be this week, but probably in the late week-end. I have a lot of work ahead of me for this chapter.

Antony444

Ah but did you expect my counter-counter betrayal? And by the way, my troops are sabotaging your engines as we speak!

Antony444

In part, yes. Both cases, more or less, fall under the category of 'yes they betrayed, but-' contrary to the seven others. Mind you if Commorragh hadn't happened, Fulgrim would have been mentioned, of that there is no doubt. As for Magnus, well, Corax was on the anti-psyker side at Nikea, but he was less than fond of the way Russ developed his arguments of 'maleficarum'...plus the hypocrisy of his arguments when the Space Wolves very much use psykers...

MORTAL COMBAT!!! It has begun... So, we have an unconventional commander on Imperial side (how can he be otherwise with such name?) who sadly doesn't get much trust from his subordinates... But well, it still to be seen, how it would progress, and how different gambits would play... But honestly mister 'Son of Horus to extreme' wish to invade Cadia by himself? His title of Sightless seems well deserved.

Antony444

It's not as sightless as you believe. Provided you are ready to betray Lorgar and don't care about Weaver (which the Sons of Horus don't) trying to capture the Cadian Pylons and transform them into Octarite could be a very good victory for him and his warband. And he doesn't have to take the risk to cross half the galaxy to do it. Okay, there's still the Cadian defences to deal with...

You know what, if I’m ever in a situation where my sudden and inevitable betrayal isn’t a betrayal because they expected it. I’m going to betray them by not betraying them, now that’s a betrayal they will never see coming. Not only am I going to do my job perfectly, I’m not even going to spread traitorous lies and sedition while doing it! Now that’s what betrayal is all about, taking an ally’s perception of you and what your going to do and your intentions then subverting it so it’s not what they expect. The best part is that the forces of chaos would never see it coming so all there plans are also ruined.

Looks over the start of the Black Crusade and smiles till this one reads the backstabbing. I am just going to wait morons till someone backstabs you in a way you were not expecting and then I am going to enjoy watching the fireworks. Raven Lord has it right pacts and agreements with the warp parasites has no real worth.

Red Bard

I'm surprised, but i shouldn't be at chaos plans, still let's see how it backfires on them.

Antony444

That's...an excellent definition of betrayal. Now for all these treasons you've never expected...(evil grin)

Antony444

Some of Chaos plan are always going to blow up in their faces...or not, depending on the perspective. It's Chaos, after all.

Antony444

Yep, should one other Chaos Primarch try another pact right now, the Three would gleefully embrace it...and have zero reluctance in throwing Lorgar to the wolves.
