As said on alternate history, the writing order for this month will likely be The Weaver Option, The odds were never in my favour and then Let the Galaxy Burn.

A grave blow has been struck against Slaanesh the question now will it be enough to make it a non-threat? That remains to be seen.

Ok... the level of epic awesomness has reached the Sky, shouted "out of the way" and flew to the orbit. And now I can't help but imagine corporal Slaanesh reaching the Port and then tired Taylor, beaten by unbroken Cegorath and exited QoB (how can she miss such occasion?) tag teaming it while the Firtress charging another shot.

Well, right now as this chapter stops, Slaanesh would already be in a very perilous situation. It's still a threat, but Cegorach should never have been strong enough to strike the blow he just did.

When Cegorach stabbed Slaanesh I jumped up and said "YES". On a more important note were is Slaanesh getting all her power from now? I will give her that humanity making some on their pleasure worlds like the one that was in neptunia (cannot wait to see if that gets undone) and stupid people with absurd power. However if I remember right Slaanesh took her armies from every battle field from Rim to Rim and just lost all of them in Commorragh. So with the shadow point that should really account for the present and future for the most part. That really just leaves the past.... O well I guess Excess really want to it can risk it in a insane fashion. I think Slaanesh should have just ran into the web way and hide from the other chaos gods for a while.

something tells me this is still going according to plan, Cegorach isn't dumb he knows just this isn't enough... The queen of blades is still there too I'll bet she'll take a swing at Slannesh and maybe a few dozen blasts from the Blackstone fortress.

I'm with the ones noting the Laughing God isn't stupid enough to think that was enough. Slaanesh has been around too long to die easily, even when stripped of a lot of Her power and reserves. At the same time, the danger to Herself is very real. And the longer the Laughing Gods can delay and weaken Her, the better the chance to erase Her from Existence. I dare say the space battle is tipping decisively towards an Imperial victory though, as even with Spirit Stones, the agony must have been.....significant. On a side note, even if Slaanesh actually survives, I dare say She will NEVER be able to materialize fully like she's done here, as her receptacle will likely be incinerated.

He'd better. Cegorach doesn't have anymore the Sword of Vaul to be unaffected by the attack of the Fortress. No, Cegorach is 100% an Aeldari God. And no, this doesn't transform the Webway into a human construction. In fact, it's going to make a lot of things worse.

There are multiple problems. First, it's never been done. Two, Cegorach is in many ways the wrong God for this kind of job: not a fighter, not a warrior, not particularly strong or having a domain who can really hurt Slaanesh. But yes, right now the goal is to delay Slaanesh. Every second it is forced to stay at Khaine's Gate is a victory.

Looks like the Mark of Commorragh is going to stop Slaanesh from drawing energy from Eldar until they die. (If she is around after this.) Since all Eldar is in some way felling Slaanesh in the background trying to feed on them. You can compare it with an open wound that will not heal. Craftword Eldar is stopping it with spirit stones as a bandage on the wound when the Drukhari is torture people to replenish the energy they lose. Like an Blood transfusion to replenish what they lose from the wound. The Mark is going to cauterize the wound (the connection between Slaanesh and the Eldar race). Will be interesting to see how this will effect how Eldar is going to use there psychic powers after this.

WOW, your chapters are always worth the wait, I have to wonder if saving Cegorach/beating Slaanesh is the Queen of blade final appointment.

MMmm I was just rereading and noticed in Eldrad Ulthran story point he is worried about a younger seer ordering his empire to hunt down Eldar were ever they existed in order to hurt chaos. Then I remember Tzeentch saying the same thing so what if this theory is technically true? If conditions X is not meet IoM will start hunting down Eldar everywhere they can and kill them off no matter the cost? Well we can guess X has to do with killing Slaanesh and honestly I can see it mattering a lot right now for Slaanesh if the eldar will go extinct or not in the near millennium. A example of what I thought X could be would be the IoM on the orders of the Emperor demands craftworlds to wage war against forces of Chaos as the actions of B-idiots-pricks-tan have broken the agreement between IoM and the Eldar with failure to comply will result in a open war between IoM and all eldar. With this extinction of the eldar is guaranteed as long as Slaanesh lives. A. Slaanesh must defeat or kill the laughing god and with the clowns almost wiped out due to this fight the forces laughing god will not be effectively able to counter attacks from the forces of chaos. B. No matter what a full out war will destroy the Eldar craftworlds long term, unless something goes horrible wrong for the forces of they are fighting and it would need to be worthy of level of calling it war plan commorragh. C. Eldar will have no long term future for Slaanesh to draw power from. Thus so as long as the Doom of eldar lives they will all die fulling what all the powerful seer were guessing at. So any other reader have an idea what X could be?

I just realised, the first speaker says that the mark is caused by the talisman firing for the second time. We’ve seen it fire once so far... I’m looking forward to the second!
