Well, that's it... So in the end it was Scavens, who worship Malal... wonder how did they end in that box. And now we have a Blackstone fortress! Whatever left will attack with desperation - just because they don't have anywhere else to go. And they goona be massacred. Just what will happens to Slaanesh? It seems more and more likly that assault from three others 'God' will end her. And the fact it is about to go right into a new trap won't help matters... But honestly, I'd say that Slaanesh weakened and cornered but still fighting three others is somewhat better for Imperium that defeated Slaanesh, it's psichic ressources devided amongs Elders.

As soon as I saw slaanesh say no ship large enough to take that amount of time exists, I knew either one of the Emperors ships, or a Blackstone Fortress was coming. I like how Vect went out, though something that has been niggling at my mind this entire time: Is Aenaria an Anethema? Silver and Gold aura's, both able to kill deamons permanently, she thought Emps would be able to challenge her one day. Admiral Kirtsch is a dead man, though I notice you didn't list the Bakka reinforcements yet. And Where in the Galaxy is Constantine Valdor? The Dreams of the Abyss is horrible. What exactly was Leet going to get reprimanded for in the last chapter? I can't help but feel it was important. Final thought: Who replaces Slaanesh? Because if the Prince of Excess dies someone takes it's place. That Inquisition snippet at the start of the chapter refers to 4 chaos gods.

I tried to count: Taylor got trapped in Abyss of Dream at T - 35 and got out at T - 8, QoB mentionned that it would take 3-6 hours to fall after it's not longer feed. So this weapon was activated for 21-24 hours or around 30-36 cycles. And price grew bigger cycle by cycle, even if it wasn't said by how much... But I'd say at least 100000 Eldars died to sepate Taylor from her troopes which only made her angrier...

shittt, I can't believe we actually have a veteran from Horus heresy participating in Mark of Commaragh. Hibou khan was part of Torghun Khan's conspiracy to abandon Jaghatai Khan and side the legion with Horus. However when the plan failed and the Great Khan returned, Hibou surrendered himself and was taken into custody. Later on he returned to service and attempted to rehabilitate himself, leading forces against the Sons of Horus and badly wounding Horus Aximand. Now, its good to see that he regain and redeemed himself in front of white scar chapter by arising as the chapter master. He sounds more like Sun Tzu when he offers military advice and seems pretty humble in comparison to Black Templar. I'm really excited for the next chapter...really wanna see some of white scar batlte doctrines and tactics.

The entire chapter is showing our beloved Wordsmith's epic touch; but I want to draw attention to what the Queen of Blades was thinking as Taylor fled. She's aware of QA and its connection to Taylor; she's aware that the Emperor is doing more then merely guiding Taylor in His service, he's actively engaged in altering Taylor in ways yet to be seen, and in ways only the Master of Mankind truly understands. I guess I was closer to the mark then I'd anticipated, when I mentioned previously that Taylor might end up being a possible Heiress to the Imperial throne.........

This Hibou Khan is not the same as the Heresy one. This Space Marine (who is the Great Khan of the White Scars nonetheless) was named in honour of his famous predecessor, though.

Well Leet going to try and make Goszilla now.... Blackstone Fortress what a real terror weapon you have brought to this war front. If it activates and targets what I am thinking you're just pure evil. Clowns super weapon function just like I thought it would and QoB can use soul rendering attacks at that level all day long it seems. She is scary and the Emperor will for sure be in trouble if he makes a mess in the web way again. LOL great story!

Glorious chapter. Things are getting ever more intense and action-packed to the brim. Escalation continues! Seriously love fates of the many characters involved, you have a touch for ‘proper’ character endings that are both satisfying and in-character. Living ones have it well too, but you know what I meant ;)

It seems that the Queen of Blades is to the Eldar as the Emperor is to Humanity - an anomaly that is so powerful it is hard to believe that they belong to the same species. I think the Necrons need a bit more appreciation in the story. They have been carrying the space battle in the Port of Lost Souls, but their contributions are only really mentioned in passing. I’m sure that Trazyn has at least a few STC’s he’d be willing to trade after the battle to get that holy 12. Though I’m curious about what would happen if the Mechanicus ever found a STC for either an AI, or AI controlled technology. Is it considered holy or heretical? Finally found out where the Angel’s Sword power armours went, which was nice. Expected a bit more that 500, considering her production was more than twice that yearly and she had 5 years to prepare. And did Weaver live up to her promise of giving the Fay 20th war games against Astartes? A Blackstone Fortress huh? Although it’s inactive, it will still be a powerful addition to the forces defending the Port. The Necrons probably have the know-how to activate it, but considering that the Talismans of Vaul were Anti-Ctan Warp Cannons, psychic energy is probably required which would make it impossible for the Necrons to do so. And since Slannesh is about to invade, using psychic energy to activate it now would be very dangerous. It’s too bad there isn’t a large, powerful psychic creature that is immune to Chaos corruption flying around…

Is it weird but the standout character for me during this whole arc was vector. My god he was awesome. Which is surprising because I hate the dark eldar. How he went out was fantastic. Every time you had him in the story he stole the show for me. 10/10 would recommend to everyone

Well, if anyone manages to activate the Warp Cannon on that monster, Slaannesh might end up EXTINCT. And while it was mentioned that Malal is around, this means there would still be Four of the Chaos Gods.....Regardless, something tells me the Lord of Excess will respond to ANY mention of Weaver with one HELL of a temper tantrum!!!!

Well, in this instance Taylor is likely going to limit herself to giving the funds (via Rakarth's bounty) and inspecting the building progress. It's more likely either Cyrene or another architect is going to plan and enforce the real work.

Really saying something that this last update allows them to successfully checkmark a lot of the long list of goals as completed, except for a few that they did not complete themselves and a small handful that will not be completed. No doubt the Mask of Frozen Stars was wiped out by using that maze and perhaps with a little bit of luck they can find a 12th major STC like item to make the Mechanicus even happier. After all 12 is such a nice number.

I think it is hardly possible to transport all the refugees to the Blackstone Fortress in time, but would there theoretically be enough space? Didn't find any exact information, but 10000-100000 miles ° 2 sounds huge ^^ I'm really curious to see how many chapters it takes to process the whole looting etc.

Unfortunately, the Blackstone Fortress wasn't sent to Commorragh for transport. Just think about the time it took it to arrive...

While Blackstone Fortresses are big, they are NOT that big, they are around the size of the Phalanx IF you are generous, now the Phalanx is big by any standard (It is big and old enough to have developed its own biosphere with unique plant and animal lifeforms), as for their realspace size, they are around 30 km in diameter, which is big but not big enough to smash Cadia apart, that part was helped along by our Spacebattle oath "One at sufficient velocity" Chaos sacrificed A LOT to enable them to accelerate a Blackstone fortress to a high enough velocity to break apart the planet.
