As you can see, after four chapters, Commorragh has...suffered a relatively heavy amount of destruction and slaughter, as well as a minor daemonic invasion.

The Port of Lost Souls and Aelindrach, so far are the only sub-realms which have been relatively spared from Slaanesh...but the Port has had other problems to deal with, of course.

Should we read anything into the fact that some of the subrealm names are a bit smeared, or is that something along the lines of JPEG artifacts? I am 500% ready to overthink it either way.

Well, seven subrealms destroyed and seven corrupted. One is still swalloved in darkness so dark and mandrake-like that even Slaanesh hesitate to go there. Whatever is left of Biel-Tan and it's brother in total absence of reason are still holding on two, and finally the Port is hive of activity: Imperium, Necrons and now Blackstone Fortress... Gotta admit, I expected some of corrupted realms to turn destroyed thanks to Abyss of Dreams... But I imagine destruction is not so complete there. I wonder why Taylor and her friends did leave some Exterminatus gift before departing from Corespur and Zel'Harst. By the way,I just realised Battle of Commorragh is nearly cyclic: first chapter in Port of Lost Souls, second in Zel'harst; third in Corespur. Then the direction is inversed and fourth is back in Zel'Harst andfifth and last would be once again in Port of Lost Souls... I have some upleasant association, which I won't voice.

hmm now to wait who is going to own it all after the fighting perhaps weaver could sell the prime locations in the port only minor demon and crazy xeno's there

I think it is less JPEG artifacts and more a result of how the image was made. Based on the artifacts, I would assume MS Paint, with text placed first and the background made using the fill tool. A minor recommendation for future such maps: try out paint.net. Put the text on one layer, and everything else on a layer below. That way you want have the fuzzy/messy text and the leftover bits of white where the fill tool can't reach.

Damnit man, why the cliffhangers! Whhhyyyyy

I'm kind of curious if they'll end up collapsing half the webway by the time they're finished, even if it wasn't the plan of any faction there. Some of that damage it starting to feel structural, and that place holds a chunk of the webway up. The alternative is 'under control of assorted chaos entities' assuming that with all the other damage they have taken Slaanesh can't hold onto it all, but with the wards destroyed nobody else can keep Chaos out.

Antony444

Only if you want to embezzle someone will parts of Commorragh be sold after this...

Antony444

Well, half the Webway might be a bit over-optimistic, but there is going to be some structural damage, yes.

Antony444

It is a game of advance and retreat in Commorragh, yes. But then it was almost unavoidable, because one way or another the Imperium would never have been able to conquer the Dark City with the forces on hand.

Boris Michenski

Well, there is my tak on what Mark of Commorragh will be. Eldars fleets attack en mass, fueled by desperation. Slaanesh open the main gate to Port of Lost Souls. And then Fortress will fire it's main gun, alimented by Emperor's power. The blast will decimate what left of Commoragh, go all the way to Khain's Gate and reach Slaanesh Palace where it will stop after decimating all attaking forces. And so no more Commorragh, Slaanesh is weakened but with attackers destroyed it has time to regroup and escape destruction.

Antony444

Mhh...yes, it sounds plausible. You will have to wait 8-5 to see if it happens.

What is everyone’s hopes for STC templates? What do you think would be best/most helpful/most interesting? I’m hoping for something that is not necessarily doctrinally acceptable, but since it’s an STC they have to deal.

Honestly, I wonder whether the imperium will go public with the big 4 now that they have prooved they are not unkillable star gods... just killable star gods. It would be good for morale and pride, and might stop some from turning to demon worship.... who knows.

What daemons? The Eldar were obviously even more diabolical than we imagined... but never speak of this again Guardsman.” In all seriousness, I imagine the local inquisitors are smart enough to realize that purging the survivors of the regiments that faced chaos would lead to a confrontation with Taylor. If anything is explained to the troops, it could be a simple “there are dark powers out there, but as we have just seen, the Emperor’s power is triumphant”

I was more of wondering if Emperor was going to txt the master of fate "about that comment of a thousand impossible victories against pirates that will change nothing... Well I disagree, but guess what? Weaver going to show us who is right or wrong on this matter very shortly."
