Saturday Update! (Patreon)

CURRENT CG COMPLETION: 71/181

Hello again folks! I hope y'all are doing well!

I don't think I have a whole lot to say in the preamble this week x'D There was some challenge, but I just kinda kept my head down and got my work done. In fact I'm willing to say last week went about as smooth as it can!

So, let's just get right into the art, shall we?

This one was a doozy! I've been working on my CGs in 'vague alphabetical order' but I'd skipped this one for a long time because it was so complicated.

At the start of this week though, I was feeling pretty confident so I decided I'd tackle this one but give myself 3 days, as opposed to the usual 2. I'm SO GLAD I did that because I needed all 3 days x'D

Getting the refs with my tripod was a challenge in and of itself, but it was also just a lot of work to ink and color 3 characters [ or maybe 1 and 2 halves? but still ] and to stitch the background together [ the background is actually made of 2 existing backgrounds placed together and tilted, then I painted over the middle to make them appear as one ]

Even the shadows were a challenge x'D But like I said, an extra day really took the pressure off and let me get this one done ^o^

And we remain in the desert for the next CG- more of Derek's shenanigans. 

I don't have as much to say about this one but I am very happy with how the pose and angle came out! 

And I suppose that's all there is to it! A real short and sweet update this week! 

Thank you guys so much for supporting me, especially emotionally! I've been getting some really nice messages lately from people encouraging me and I just wanna say that it means a lot. Sometimes I get really stuck up in my own head and I forget that so many people are rooting for me. I'm gonna try harder to keep it in mind!
