Hello everyone! It's been another long and grueling week of art labour, but I do thankfully have something to show for it!

Most of the backgrounds in Mason's route are now complete [ boy oh boy, am I getting tired of painting trees ] but sometimes you gotta suffer for your craft and in this case I'm proud to say I think it's been worth it.

Six areas now have full drawn backgrounds, each for four times of day- for a total of 24 fully painted background images.

Here's some examples of my work!

I have one area left to paint for Mason, and then I'm thinking I'll tackle a couple of his CGs which are basically the same as backgrounds- nature shots with no character in them.

This game is basically going to be one giant interactive art book when I'm done X'D

As for other work, I actually did very little coding this week- it was almost entirely art. I fixed a couple small bugs but my testers are reporting quite a bit less now that a lot of the bad spelling and bugs have been squashed [ this is good! ]

I did however take the time on Friday to adjust the Status screen a fair bit, based on suggestions by my testers.

The status bars are now colored- Green for over 50%, Orange for over 25%, and Red when your stat is dangerously low. 

I've also made the status screen a bit wider and spaced things out more nicely.

Lastly, I increased the size of the temperature and time gauges by a fair bit. I redrew the thermometer and changed the various colors of the 'liquid' so that they're always more visible.

These changes made the whole status screen more pleasant to look at and much easier to read. Thank you to my testers for your suggestions!
