Took a couple of days this week to see how rough the transition over to Unreal 5 would be.  The biggest hurdle so far was fixing up the C++ stuff that was changed from UE 4.26 to UE5 but that was mostly just digging through documentation to find what was changed and where it was moved to.  But so far things have been pretty smooth.

Next steps for UE5 will be converting over the static meshes to Nanite and converting the world composition over to world partition.

I was also working my way through the quest scripting and dialogue trees.  The Reeve's quest line is in a first draft, the dialogue and scripts are written and ready for testing.  I want to get the Tavern faction into a roughly testable state too for the next build.

The plan for the next few weeks is to finish up the animation sets for the lesser incubus, get the quest lines for the Tavern and the Reeve relatively stable in game and then put out a build.  This next build will be in UE4 still and then after that I'll make the commitment to bringing everything over into UE5 and start doing builds in UE5 after that.
