CSA 49 - I Picked Up a Girl (Patreon)

“First, should I try going to the desert area?”

Looking at the map, it doesn't seem to be that far, but I've never flown at night before, so I'm thinking of building a hut and taking a break before entering the desert area.

“Alright, let’s go.”

I put the map away in storage and decided to cross over the great forest for now.

I should have flown quite a distance, but the wetlands haven’t come into view.
To be honest, I underestimated the great forest.

“It's probably good that nature is abundant, but as expected, it's just too big.”

That's why it would take six months by horse-drawn carriage.
I think it's because this is a world with magic and Skills that it's possible to take unreasonable journeys, but if it’s the world of my previous life, I think all but adventurers and special people would refuse to do it.
Well, even in this world, I was just refused some time ago, so perhaps a carriage passing by itself is already unusual. They would be commendable people.

With that being the case, let’s take a shortcut with line of sight teleport.

I think I was able to teleport about 100km ahead.

“Mu, the forest is cut off! Is it a wetland from there?”

Once again, I flew until the wetland with a teleport.

“Ooh, a herd of animals. Hippos? Elephants? Hippo elephants? That’s isekai animals for you.”

There are also other herds of deer-like and lion-like animals. Since they are isekai animals, the deer are carnivores, and the lions are herbivores. That’s quite an isekai fantasy.

“Nn, people?”

There was a group of tribesmen throwing spears at a cow-like animal. They are mostly naked and wearing masks made from animal skulls. There are a lot of women there. I won’t say what they are, but they’re jiggling up and down.

It’d be troublesome if they found me, so let's quickly teleport before then.

“The wetland was also pretty big, but it's already the desert, huh.”

It's the teleport’s fault. What’s the point of gaining experience points for my Flight Skill...? Let’s just say that it's my personal style to go bit by bit without forcing myself.

I arrived at the desert area before noon, so let's cross the desert as well.
What’s left after that is the volcanic area and the canyon.

“Collapsed...?”

As I was having a desert sightseeing tour from high in the sky, admiring rivers of sand flowing like rivers and waterfalls of sand falling like waterfalls, I saw what looked like a person collapsed in the distance, so I moved closer with teleportation, and found a dark-haired, brown-skinned girl wearing only one piece of rag, lying on the ground.

“Horrible...”

Her limbs were bent in the wrong direction, her whole body was covered in blood that had turned black, and her neck, hands, and feet were shackled, and the chains were torn to pieces.

“A slave...?”

Because of how much time had passed, there were only a few left, but there were multiple footprints and wheel tracks all around, as well as one large footprint that stood out.

“Did they get attacked by a giant or something?”

Perhaps, was this girl used as a decoy to escape from the monster?
What a cruel thing to do...

They say that a spirit you do not approach will not curse you, but I can't just leave this child alone. I don't want to go through the rest of my life feeling like my heart is being squeezed because of this.

No matter how you look at her, she looks like she’s dead, but I check for breathing and pulse just to be sure.

“Her breath is, none huh? And her pulse... I guess it’s there, just slightly? This means she's alive...”

Her life force is too strong...
However, when I think that she’s surviving this long in this condition, it must have been very painful.
I was so sad that tears started flowing.

“You’re all right now. I'll save you now.”

I took out a mega potion from Storage and sprinkled it over her whole body.

She’s visibly healing, but the healing process is exquisitely disgusting.
If this were a game, it would just shine and heal instantly, but this is real life, so it would wriggle around and eat away at my sanity. I suppose it’s better not to look directly at it. I'll look though.

Once her body returned to normal, I liquefied her shackles with Alchemy Skill and removed them, and then I held the unconscious girl in my arm and teleported back to the wetland.

“This is ba-!? Wait, it’s there!”

I remembered becoming completely naked after teleporting, but now I used magic instead of a Skill, so there weren't any problems.
If I teleported using the Skill, the girl wouldn’t have been judged as equipment and would have been left alone in the desert.

I use Alchemy Skill to build a hut, make a wood powder bed, and put the girl on it.

“I have to get her changed.”

As expected, it would be pitiful to leave her in that tattered clothes. Or rather, are these rags actually clothes? Even if I imagine what it looked like before it was ragged, I don’t think it would be something someone would wear.
For now, I take out a one-piece that looks easy to wear from Storage and take off her rag.

“Aah... the underwear too, huh...”

The tattered panties are no longer in the shape of an underwear.

“...It's an emergency. This is legal. There's nothing wrong with it. Besides, I'm a beautiful girl. It wouldn’t even become a crime.”

While giving a suggestion to myself, I took out a pair of light blue striped panties from Storage, took off her ragged panties and put them on. (This took 3 minutes.)

It was my first time seeing someone else's, but I was surprisingly not excited.
Something red is dripping from my nose, but I'm sure it's just my imagination.

After I finished changing her clothes, I made a wood powder blanket and put it on her.

“Now then, what should I do...?”

It's good that I decided to help, but no matter how you look at it, it's obvious that it's troublesome.
It might be a good idea to ask her what she wants to do when she wakes up, and if she doesn't have any relatives, it might be a good idea to leave her with Myaa-san or the squirrel cook. He seemed like a good person anyway.
If she says that she wants to follow me... let's love her to the very end. It's decided.

“All right, let's make some food.”

I create a kitchen with Alchemy Skill and take out pork, beef, eggs, carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, and all kinds of seasonings from Storage to make a hamburger set meal.
While I’m at it, let’s make some pudding and orange juice to make it into a kids' lunch.

First, I use Alchemy Skill to create a bowl made of aero adamantite, use Mincing Magic to make pork and beef into minced meat, mix them, add salt, pepper, and an egg, and then knead.

Since it's a bit of a hassle, I create Hamburg Steak Magic with my Universal Magic Skill, shape the minced meat, take out iron from Storage to create a frying pan with Alchemy Skill, and grill the shaped hamburg. Using aero adamantite to make the frying pan will make it have the worst thermal conductivity, so using plain iron is better. It's also good for your health because you can get iron.
By the way, the iron frying pan has a finely textured surface, making it non-stick. With this I can make healthy dishes without wasting oil. Alchemy Skill is so useful.

While waiting for it to cook, I make a children's plate, children's cup, children's knife and fork, and children's spoon out of aero adamantite and place them there. I also don't forget to draw cute animal series such as rabbits and bears on conspicuous parts such as the handle. I also prepare a dining table and chairs using wood powder. Also some towels.

Next, I use Salad Magic to cut up the vegetables and place them in another bowl I made.
I use Dressing Magic to make Caesar dressing, and lastly, I use Cooking Magic to make pudding and orange juice, and it’s complete.

“Why didn't I think of this at first...?”

I ended up making multiple useless magic, but well, it's probably okay.
By the way, cooking-type magic cannot be activated without ingredients and a recipe image.
I could have just created a magic that imitates a tool from the future called gourmet table, but it gives me an image of bad taste, so I would probably only be able to create tasteless dishes.
Image and inspiration are important when it comes to magic and skills, so if you think it's no good even slightly, it will become no good.
It's possible that it won't be bad once the level goes up, but at least it'll be bad for now.

“It's like a family restaurant from somewhere... how wonderful.”

It’s good that I made these, but the girl isn’t waking up, so let’s put them in Storage.
