I finished my preparation and finally came to the Adventurer's Guild.
It seems that the member Shishido-san, who is always at the bar, is not there.

“The requests today are...”

I check the request board.
It didn't seem to be much different from what I saw before, so I decided to accept the request to gather medicinal herbs.

“I’ll accept this request.”

I submit my card and the request form to the receptionist and have her decide whether or not I can take the request.
Well, I brought it from the request board where level 1 adventurers can accept it, so I think I can accept it without any problems though.

“Okay, this is your first request, isn’t it? Here is a potion to commemorate accepting your first request. Good luck!”

After Onee-san glanced at the card and request form I submitted, she stamped the request form and handed me my card and a potion.

“Thank you very much...”

If she had looked at the back of the card, I might have been able to see her surprised face.
The Skill section is fully packed, so she’d make a funny expression. A shame.

I quickly go to the nearby forest and proceed to gather medicinal herbs.

“Appraisal, medicinal herbs for recovery.”

Appraisal is really convenient.
After that, I cut down the medicinal herb I found while making sure the roots remain, sprayed them with a high fertilizer potion to regenerate them, and repeated the cutting process until I collected the specified amount. It's a hassle to search for them one by one after all.
The high fertilizer potion should sell for more than the request reward, so this would normally put me in the red, but since I can make it for free, it's not a problem.

“Alright, let's go back.”

Not even 10 minutes has passed since I accepted the request, but I've finished collecting the medicinal herbs, so let's go back to the Adventurer's Guild.

“I've finished collecting them.”

I handed a sachet containing the medicinal herbs to the onee-san at the reception desk.

“That's fast! ...Yes, I’ve confirmed them. Congratulations on completing your request!”
“Thanks.”
“You can raise your adventurer level by completing two more requests, so do your best!”

I put the reward of 5000 El into storage and look for the next request.

“Hmm, let’s go with helping clean up.”

Like before, I handed the request form to the receptionist onee-san and headed to the request site.

“I’ve come to help with cleaning at your request.”
“Ara, a cute girl has come.”
“Yeah, I guess so.”

I'm helping an elderly couple clean their house in the neighborhood of the Adventurer's Guild.
Let's make it squeaky clean with the elementary cleaning magic “Clean.”
By the way, elementary cleaning magic has the same cleaning power as a rag or a vacuum cleaner.
For the intermediate level, it’ll be like commercial detergents, if it’s the advanced level, it may or may not make it as good as new, just like the time furoshiki used by the blue tanuki.
Perhaps thanks to the Universal Magic Skill, I feel like I can somehow understand the effects of higher-level magic that I haven't been able to learn yet, it’s like a skill tree. Just feeling it though.

I cleaned the exterior walls, entrance, kitchen, living room, bedroom, toilet, storage room, and I also cleaned the furniture and clothes while I’m at it.
They told me that I didn't have to clean the children's room, so I guess they wanted to feel the remnants of their children who had left the nest.
The elderly couple looked at me with smiles on their faces as if they were their cute grandchild, so I'd like to think that I was able to ease the loneliness of losing their children a little.

“I'd be happy if Ojou-chan comes again.”
“Thanks.”

I've completed my request, so I'll go and report to the Adventurer's Guild.

I wonder if their confirmation method is through mind speak or telepathy? Well, anything is fine as long as I get my reward.

The next request I accepted was for an escort.
They’re looking for someone to talk to in the name of an escort though.

“Why is that?”
“The talk is long.”
“I see... but I'll take it.”
“I see, good luck then!”

I head to the ojii-san who posted the request.
Or rather, he’s been watching me all this time since I took this request form. He’s sitting at a table in the Adventurer's Guild's bar.

“Ooh, how nice of you to come! Now, order anything you like. This will be separate from the request reward.”
“Thank you very much. It says escorting, but are you going out somewhere?”
“No, if you can talk to me here, the request will be fulfilled.”
“I understand.”

So you were completely looking for someone to talk to.
Apparently I can order food, so let’s not hold back and eat. Activate Storage inside my mouth.

“You still feel like eating?”
“Yes, I just left the orphanage and I'm hungry, so I want to eat as much as I can while I can.”

I kept ordering food non-stop for 30 minutes and put them in storage.
I more or less cut them into bite-sized pieces and pretended to chew them so as not to look suspicious.
Sometimes I ate them normally, so no one would find out.
I'm not good at conversation, so I spoke ambiguously while shaking my head up and down or left and right as I said “yes” or “no.”
The talk was mostly Ojii-san bragging in the name of a heroic tale, so there was no problem as long as I said something like ‘Un’ or ‘Sun’.

“Can I order more?”
“Aah, no, the request is complete... I'll run out of money...”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t hold back.”
“It’s okay, I’m the one who said it anyway... haa...”

I thanked Ojii-san for the meal and reported to the receptionist onee-san.

“You're amazing in various ways...”
“That was a delicious request.”
“R-right... Okay, congratulations on completing the request. You are now a level 2 adventurer.”

I receive the rewards and my card, and verify my card. It was properly written as Adventurer Level 2.

“You can move up to the next level by completing level 2 requests six times, so do your best!”
