CSA 35 - I Realized (Patreon)

“I woke up. Good morning.”

It has become a habit to go to bed early and wake up early even though no one will scold me for staying up late.
My eyes glaze over a bit as I remember my orphanage days.

“Maybe I'll work in the fields today?”

No time like the present.
I get down from the house and plow the area.

“Tettere─! Aero adamantite hoe~”

A hoe so light like a balloon and so strong that not even a meteorite can break it.

“Essa! Hoisa! Essa! Hoisa!”

* (T/N: that’s just a battle cry when doing work, usually when with other people to match the timing.)

I plow the ground with a hoe randomly and shape it to look like a field. I don't know the ABCs of making a field, so this only looks like a field.

“What should I plant?”

I could plant synthesized vegetables, but since I’m more or less in the city, it would be troublesome if strange people noticed me. Let’s grow regular vegetables and fruits. Let's do that.

“Potatoes, cucumbers, carrots, eggplants, green peppers, green onions, cabbage, strawberries, grapes, melons, watermelons, un. I think these are enough.”

I plant the same things in the field one row at a time, and spray them with high fertilizer potions.

“Yes, done!”

Let's snack on some of the vegetables and fruits that have ripened and store the rest in Storage.
While harvesting, my Storage Skill level increased to 3, allowing me to store more items.

I plan to leave the remaining seedlings as they are and replenish them with high fertilizer potions every time I consume them.

“Phew, it feels good to be done with a job.”

I'm also full from eating snacks, so maybe I should take a nap?

...I feel like I'm about to do something bad. I guess the trauma at the orphanage is still lingering.

I thought of a way to push the trauma away from my memory and sleep comfortably.

First, alchemize an aero adamantite into a rectangular thin fabric, form holes at both ends for strings to pass through, alchemize strings with aero adamantite, pass the strings through the holes at both ends, and then just tie them to a good place on a tree and the hammock is complete!

“Yoishotto. Ooh, this feels good!”

When I made it sway, it really felt like I’m freed from gravity.

Seeing Lefie's bright smile, I decided then and there that my dream for the future was to become a seamstress.

When I woke up, the sun was directly overhead. I think I slept for about three hours?

I stretched my body and got off the hammock.

“...Let's get a proper job.”

Most of the dreams I had when I was in an orphanage were unpleasant dreams, but the dream I had earlier was a pleasant memory even though I was in a dark orphanage, and you showed it to the current me...

I realized that if I continued like this, I would end up heading straight to the life of a Hiki-NEET, so I decided to get a proper job.
