As I might have mentioned before, the shot I need to start the next page is a bit of a pain to put together, so I thought I'd capture some progress shots on it and grudge my way through it, posting them here as a bit of motivation.  The idea of the shot is a panned-out panel of Tombstone, which means that I have to go back though the past 70 or so pages I drew and pick out specific landmarks I put in the background of scenes (which I generally try to keep track of anyways) and put them in absolute place in a big final map, while also giving myself room to do things I want to do in the future as well.  On top of all this the panel is going to be a gradient dark-to-light from left to right, with the lighting changing to capture the shift from night to day, so actually painting it is going to be an even bigger pain, but before I do anything else I need to hammer down where everything actually is in the first place.

Here is phase one, I've got my roads and my paths and my buildings arranged, I've got the power generator, the crane, Liz and Monday's respective places marked, I've figured out where I put the billboards, and where the diner is, which one is the building that says PIZZA on the side and where FISH building is in relation to the big long port thing. I think I  have everything generally in place, so now I need to start roughing in some lighting and start fleshing out a proper landscape.

Wish me luck.
