Okay. There were some WILD moments in this one. I am just dumbfounded by Jacob and his persistence as well as Edwards controlling nature. Was a pretty epic fight thought in the end! Enjoy :)

“So is origami but it changed my life” 😂 Love that lol Jacob made me so mad in this one. If he has to prove he and Bella are perfect together by forcing himself on her in some way, or manipulating her into saying how she feels, why in his mind would that make him good for her? If it would be “so easy” being with him, he would not have had to do any of those things for her to choose him in the first place. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Even if he believes Bella loves him but she’s telling him she doesn’t, the conversation should end right there.

Yes, Jacob is way out of line in this movie (and the lines are cringey as hell but that's the writing) but apparently the reason why he changed so dramatically is because Stephanie Meyer didn't like that people were rooting for him and Bella instead of Edward and Bella, so she had to try to make him unlikable in the future movies. I still think Jacob is far less problematic and suits Bella better than Edward does. And while constantly pursuing someone like Jacob is doing is not cute or romantic, he IS right. Bella DOES have feelings for him that she doesn't want to admit. Whether that's love I don't know but it's obvious. Yeah, she kisses him because he threatens to kill himself (which is cruel and manipulative on his part) but she's also clearly enjoying that kiss. Bella is kind of having her cake and eating it too. Her words say she wants Edward but her actions are all over the place. She IS leading Jacob on in a way and I think it's because she just doesn't know what the hell she wants. Also, before you applaud Edward for being more mature, you have to remember that spiritually and emotionally he is over a 100 years old, while Jacob is only 16/17. How they managed to do a decent take without bursting out laughing beats me 😂 I think if they had concentrated more on on each of the Cullen's backstories it would've been a far more intersting movie. It's certainly funny and entertaining though.

Jacobs iconic line "Let's face it. I am hotter than you.", makes me burst out with laughter every time I watch it. It is so incredibly cliche and cringy, but at the same time kind of clever. It is hilarious.

There is another book by the author who wrote Twilight, called The Host. The book is really good and the movie did as best they could. I think you'd like the different stance on a common cliche. The book is over 600 pages so it missed a lot, but it's still entertaining. I'm interested in your opinion on it. Idk if you're a fan of Saoirse Ronan (I am!), but she plays the main character.
