Hello friends! Dev team testing has gone pretty smoothly so I see nothing wrong with getting this into the hands of the game's supporters a couple days early.

I'm not totally sure yet how I'll handle early access with the "minor" monthly updates. Between devoting some time to dev team testing and hitting the end of the month target, it's a bit of a crunch. But I do like providing early access so I'll have to figure that out.

For major updates (like when we go to 0.5) the plan is still to give a week of early access.

Anyway, here is lucky version 0.4.13! We've advanced several character storylines by at least a step or two, added a bunch of new events, a lot of new clothes, a thrift shop, and some other stuff. See for yourself!

The link to your early access will be at the end of the release notes. I'm doing it a little different this time — I'll provide a link to a itch.io project that's restricted to password access (but the password is in the url so you shouldn't need to worry about it). This will give you both the html and apk builds as well as a browser version to play.

Remember, if you need to move a save around, use the "Save to Disk" and "Load from Disk" options in the Save dialog.

As always, if you find any issues, the best place to report them is in the Discord (that way the contributor team can see them too) but it's also perfectly fine to just DM me here. Thank you!

v0.4.13 Release Notes

  • Over 50 new events added
  • Various improvements to the APK version (thanks CadiaCreations, Keina, SunsetDreams, and majou for getting this working)
  • Added chess stream type relying on the Intellectual secondary skill
  • Can now customize the names of NPCs
  • Customization can now be used on all NPCs that you know the name of, and not just those with narrative roles
  • Added Classroom Harasser pool event (contributed by RyDog)
  • Added several other new Classroom Harasser events
  • You can now work against the Harasser and eventually get them kicked out of school (and the game) if you wish
  • Characters now have waists, and belts to wrap around them (contributed by MCMic)
  • Added two new challenges from the roommate’s partner
  • Added events to advance the roommate/partner storyline a little
  • Added branching options to dining hall socialization
  • Added some new options to make football and esports games a little more interactive
  • The Parasocial Fan has a new proposal
  • Added new event sequence for players passing by the industrial park in town
  • Better fast travel event picking — can pick an event for any location along the path instead of just the destination
  • Flirting with professors will now increase their Lust attitude faster
  • Some team logos now flipped so they appear to face off in the “vs” screen. Thanks Penny!
  • NPCs in special seed worlds should universally hate you slightly less.
  • Split the Character screen into separate tabs, and put Skills and Inclinations under here too, removing those buttons from the left panel.
  • Added the ability to adjust exactly how you’re wearing your clothing, such as whether a jacket is zipped or unzipped (contributed by MCMic)
  • Added beards! (contributed by SunsetDreams)
  • Added additional body hair so that you can shave your pits and legs or, you know, not. This can be turned off under Difficulty Options, and you can also now universally adjust hair growth rate (contributed by Z)
  • You can now plan more than one upcoming hangout, date, or booty call. Use the Calendar app on your phone to keep track. Try not to overbook yourself!
  • You can now invite a partner onto your adult cam stream. You must have an Exhibitionism level of at least 6 and have a sexual partner that you know to be exhibitionist. Having a partner increases interest and tips, but you must split the final take with them. Fair’s fair!
  • Added a bulletin board in your residence hall where you can find notes, flyers, photos, and who knows what else (contributed by SunsetDreams)
  • Doing well with your homework will now reward you with relevant skill increases
  • You can now venture into the various restrooms around the world, equip your toys, and wear them outside of encounters
  • Post a link to your wearable app-controlled toy on Elkbook and be “buzzed” throughout the day
  • Community Center location added in town! Still under construction! (Contributed by MCMic)
  • Added a thrift shop where you can find bargains, and even some stuff you won’t find anywhere else. Beware of odd stains! (Contributed by MCMic)
  • Certain events (like our friend on the bus) would fire regardless of content options because they could always be escaped from, but content options will now more reliably prevent these events from occurring at all
  • Rumors can now directly affect your reputation
  • Reputation now has a few more effects, including new events and even how much people like you
  • Some overall performance improvements that should make things a bit faster all around, though how noticeable this is depends on your hardware
  • NPCs will now be a bit more willing (at least, after a while) to help you out of the dryer
  • In events where the PC picks a topic of conversation with an NPC, the choice is more accurate when Friendship is high
  • Niche streaming now guarantees at least one relevant skillraise per day (as long as you’ve streamed for long enough)
  • A cheerleader PC will be more liked by footballer NPCs (and vice versa)
  • You can now abort an unwanted task from a professor in exchange for a loss in favor

Course of Temptation Early Access

I ran into a red error with the new version when someone passes you a nice note in class. It said "bad evaluation: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'displayname') 1"

There seems to be a recurring issue with the skimpy cheerleader uniform: wearing it seems to block you from leaving the locker room, and you also can't wear the standard uniform to games anymore, so effectively ordering the skimpy uniform blocks all future cheerleading activity.

Hmm, yup, just tried it myself. I think when it makes the outfit it's not including everything it should (namely, any items that you already owned). I'll take a look at it. In the meantime, you should be able to complete the outfit by adding anything you're missing, most likely the white sneakers.
