In Live Action, when we first meet Sanji, hes cooking that fish; an interesting little nod to the anime. Regarding fillers, most of them are like this 2-3 eps long, fun little stories; I didnt skip them and enjoyed them quite a bit. But i understand they might not be for everyone.

I don't mind the fillers since we get more glimpses into what makes these characters tick. You ladies seem to like these episodes so if you like it, keep watching them if you want 👍

Yeah that big nostrils guy surely caught everyone off guard XD I like how these two episodes are lighthearted even though they're not canon. Usually fillers have some wacky antagonists, but here were none. Technically there are few canon scenes in ep.51, the one with Sanji and elephant-tuna (he just buys it), the other with Sanji and Usopp carrying the tuna and meeting Nami and Zoro and the last with Luffy on the platform. Strangefully Nami buying a pile of clothes hadn't been animated, we only see her carrying the bag with them. After learning they've got no money, that "Nani?!" gotta be the funniest sounding line coming from Zoro's VA ever XD I can't wait for Thursday!

I like the filler because it’s the day to day moments with the crew, but just know there’s already 1000+ episodes of the canon story to get through even though I don’t expect you to watch it all on the channel lol

I think a nice way to handle the filler is to watch it in between arcs. Most of the filler is already just little sections between arcs that help you connect more with the crew as they just be their usual stupid silly selves, but for the rare cases of filler episodes in the middle of arcs, just watch those at the end of the arc along with the in-between filler. It's always a bit of a nice break between all the big events, and they're often a silly fun time.

Sapi the guy with the fish hair is actually half Fish-Man and half human. He’s also the only one we see until way after the halfway point. The filler arcs eventually become mostly movie tie in arcs. The others are usually 5 or so episodes, give a take a couple. With the longer ones being something like 10 or 11.

How many different disciplines must one know to create such a work? The seas? Pirates? Cooking? Swordsmanship and so much more. Oda Sensei is truly one of a kind!

From episode 54 to 61 is the filler saga. There is 2 canonic parts you have to watch in this episodes. 1) Episode 55 from minute 2:40 to 7:40 2) Secon half of episode 61, from minute 13:10

As a manga reader whose caught up (and former anime watcher in my youth) I would love if you two watched all the episodes including filler. Yeah, it may take more time but honestly, that just means more One Piece for every one watching with you. Whoever doesn't enjoy the fillers can just wait for the canon episodes because it's not as if the series is even finished yet so what's the rush anyway. I truly enjoy your reactions to these episodes and would just like to see more and more One Piece. Just my slightly sizzling take.

Waiting for canon episodes in some instances means multiple weeks/months of no content for viewers, who (like me) only watch the One Piece reactions. That's the main problem

Well most filler arcs are just a few episodes. the longest one is 15 episodes what is roughly one month you have to wait for the next canon episode for their reactions. fye we manga readers need to wait now 1 month for the next chapter due Oda makes a three week break. So that's not really a reason to skip the fillers. But in the end it's their decision and if they watch them or not is up to them and what they want
