Hey what's up you guys, After Show Reacts here and today I'm reviewing The Flash (2023). I went to see The Flash movie at the drive-in and here is my review for the movie, warning it contains spoilers on a lot of things and let me tell you, it was a good movie but it would have been better with one slight addition.

I'm not gonna lie. I wish grant was the movie flash. He is the definitive flash for me and the best live action portrayal in my opinion. With a great script and high budget effects, Grant would kill it.

Paul Carroll

I really prefer the flash gordon black and white movie and the tv show and the newer in color flash gordon show wow!

I do want to see it, but I won't in theaters, not just because of Ezra, but Batman V Superman pissed me off so much I have refused to see any DC movies in theaters until they reboot (Joker was an exception because it was outside the Synder continuity) & I've stuck to that for the last 7 years I will get this on 4K blu-ray when it gets released though to add to my collection I'm looking forward to Superman: Legacy as I will finally go back to seeing DC movies in theaters again hopefull that James Gunn will finally get things back on track

Have you ever watched the show Barry?

Got to see it tonight. Without getting into spoilers. Worth it. It isnt perfect. Theres 1 scene I would remove, and 1 I would have added, a couple jokes that didnt fully land, or landed maybe for the wrong reasons. But a solid 9/10.

Its a shame Grant Gustin was not allowed a cameo. That said, Barry is now living in an subtly altered reality, leaving the board clear for James Gunn's new DCU.

What I like most about the movie was that it's a real love letter to the fans. If you love Superman, Batman, the Flash and have been following the different mediums for each, it's a real treat to watch. They call back to so many things and there are so many easter eggs. I wasn't expecting Grant Gustin but it would have been the cherry on top if they were able to include him. The action, the humor, the heartwarming moments and the improvement on Barry's running all made for a great experience.

I liked it. I have to agree on one thing. Most people know I am VERY forgiving on bad CGI. I come from an era where CGI didn't exist and you had to fill in the bad effects with your imagination. But those babies were cartoonish. I mean VERY exaggerated bad. I stands out as everything else was great.

The Jay Garrick during the Multiverse sequence was Teddy Sears. Those of us that know, know just how much of a goof that is on their part.
