Patrick - Excelsior

That look on your face when we find out Danial has amnesia. ROTF I loved the battle of adages that Jack had with the old man in village. It also kept making me laugh every time Danial called Jack Jim. Jack looked so hurt. When Jack mentions maybe the Ancients just put you here, You say "They could have just put you in the SGC." They could have also gave him some clothes. Dude was naked. What was that about? Poor guy could have caught a cold. Were they so petty they were body shaming him? Good luck on that. Of all the people for Daniel to ask about Sha're, he ask Teal'c. The dude that killed her. Awkward... So the plan is to launch a fighter against the planet destroying giant spaceship by flying close to the surface, fire a missile down a ventilation shaft to blow-up the power supply. Deja vu anyone? Jack evens makes a joke saying he want to be called Red Leader. Well we know why they are having problems. No Han Solo there to shoot at Darth Vader's ship. For that matter. Uh oh, Anubis has that spike brain implant thing. Bad enough for Thor but Jonas's head is a third the size of his and he just got over brain surgery from his tumor. That dude is going to have a headache if they don't rescue him quick. Trust me, I know.

2023-03-01 22:00:35 Sorry in advance for the long comment here. As for Daniel going to talk to Teal'c after remembering Sha're, I believe it was supposed to be the middle of the night & everyone else that knew Daniel closely was at home, Teal'c is made to live on base so he's there 24/7 when not on a mission I agree that in real life Daniel would be a liability on that mission. He only remembers some stuff & at any key point there could be something they didn't plan for that he doesn't remember & jeopardizes everything, not to mention if he got captured what knowledge could still be in his head that Anubis could download I always felt that for not being able to remember anything at all for months, Daniel got his memory back way to fast once he got back to the SGC but in the audio commentary for the episode they said they wanted the memory loss to show there were some consequences for Daniel's actions on Abydos, but were faced with 2 choices the rush job they did to restore most of his memory so he gets back in the action or a slow burn of him remembering which slows down or perhaps stalls the story & they chose the 1st option One last thing, the whole scene of Jack & Sam in a 302 trying to shoot a cooling vent to take out Anubis's super weapon was made as an homage to Luke's trench run against the Death Star
