Not bad season 1. I enjoyed it. Not as funny as original series but still good. I didn't get the Fenton guy either. Don't remember him at all.

't'was cringey AF/downright unbearable at points, but to each their own, I guess..... /shrug

I'd agree that nothing about it (Aside from casual references that honestly dont impact the plot (computer and video store for example)) feels like the 90s. The 90ist element is the photo montage at the end (that song always feels peek 90s) but the last 2 episodes sold me on who the newer characters ARE which to me is way more important. Hopefully S2 grants them a better budget for writers.
