Ill be disappointed if you dont continue the show, i have enjoyed watching these with you and was hoping you would start to enjoy it but if you really dont like it then i understand. Its hard to watch shows i dont like too. This show is a slowburn show so its understandable if you dont like that type of show but i think it can only get better once the story develops further. I love how much lore we learned this episode. Also SMG had alot more screentime this episode compared to the first 2. Im hoping this continues and she gets even more.

Wolf Pack and Last of Us are the only shows that I am watching with a reactor rather then having seen it first. So all I ask is that if you do stop covering it you let me know so I can start watching it on my own.

I understand why you feel how you feel about the show. SMG was a big part of the hype for it and she isn't even a main character. Plus, the show seems to be taking too long to establish what's going on. So far, we are 3 episodes in (well 4 but we won't count that one since you haven't watched it) and all we know is there were some kids who were bitten by a werewolf and they seemingly have powers. Then there is the werewolf that is supposedly hunting them, or maybe just stalking them. We don't know how anyone fits into anything, who the good and bad guys are, or anyone's real backstory. I have a feeling though that this is one of those shows where everything will be revealed close to the season finale. Which I know can be frustrating. If you continue with it, I'll keep watching but I get it if you don't want to.

I personally found this episode frustrating, the lighting which you touched on also begrudges me it's like they are going for the film-noir style without fully committing to it leaving us with a very dark but also not very atmospheric viewing experience. I lost count how many times the cops in this show broke the law, and they also all seem to be the biggest arseholes. Yeah that one cop who the alpha wolf took was a fucking piece of shit but even the Asian cop was a complete and utter arsehole and seems to have a massive chip on his shoulder. The other thing that is bothering me is the smoke from the fire, that town should be under a heavy mist of smoke the whole time from that fire, and Luna's sense of smell should not be able to break through the smell of the smoke either The show overall hasn't really hooked me either, the first episode showed potential but hasn't had any real ramp up since then either. I honestly understand if you don't want to continue reacting to this.

Police mounted on horses is very common in forested areas in US. The horses can travel quickly thru wooded areas carrying heavy weights that most vehicles can not. As for how fast the relationship is progressing, it could be due to the wolf thing affecting there hormones and their attraction to one another. I agree the show is progressing very slowly and I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue, but this episode does seem better. I think I will give it one more episode for myself. I know I threw in towel on HIMYF. That show was just doing nothing for me. This is just my opinion, you do what you feel you need. I know your schedule is very full and you need to be selective and pick the shows that will bring out the best reactions.
