Disney15ish

I really wasn't a fan of how this episode was handled. I could see where they were trying to go with making Courtney jealous, but her position was completely justified in my opinion. The episode, though, framed her as being in the wrong for...fighting an intruder. In a world of supervillains, I think someone breaking into the house and suddenly every single person fawning over how cool she is should be suspicious.

Apparently, the most popular job at any glass factory is the job where you smash up the flawed glass pieces for recycling.

I just wrote out a whole long comment, and then went to edit it, and hit the delete button instead of the edit button. Anyway, to reiterate, Allen Scott, the first Green Lantern, was not originally connected to the Green Lantern Corp in any way. He was originally in an entirely separate continuity from the entire Corp. His ring and lantern were magic, not alien technology. Later on his powers were retconned to be connected to an ancient Green Lantern's destroyed and melted lantern, but they originally had nothing to do with one another and it's likely that is the case here as well. Also I think it's obvious now that Cindy is messing with things she really should not be messing with. I'm sure that will have no consequences whatsoever.

Okay so Jennie is the biological daughter of the original green lantern and her twin brother is also a superhero not gonna said who he is if he show up Now I think why she left was because the producers may realize that maybe green lantern power and abilities might be too expensive for a TV budget which sucks it's been 11 years since we saw live action green lantern Courtney should have given Jennie more of her trust I mean having more members of the JSA especially a legacy isn't bad Cindy what are doing you are playing with power that you can't control stop it before it's become too much I think stargirl needs more time before expanding the roster of the JSA maybe find a speedster first then think about other heroes Last thing the shade I'm interested to see how to use his powers on screen let's see what happens

Yolanda's parents, still the worst. I felt bad for Cindy's "mom" aka the woman Dragon King kidnapped, brainwashed and tortured into becoming Cindy's mom, she almost got away. I feel like Courtney not trusting Jennie made sense, she did break in and now everyone's supposed to assume she's telling the truth, however I believe she could have been both suspicious of her and a little bit nicer about it just in case she was wrong. But overall I don't think she was that bad when it came to Jennie, maybe just when it came to assuming Jennie had everything, considering she had no family and no home. Shade is interesting, I've liked the actor in a few shows I've seen him in, including Chuck.

The group home that Jenny left at the beginning of the episode was called The Ordway Home for Children. The character of Jennifer-Lynn Hayden was co-created by Jerry Ordway, so the home name is a nice little easter egg.

Yolanda's parents makes Icicle, Dragon King, Sportmaster, Tigress and The Gambler seem like cream puffs in comparison. And they were trying to take over the United States via mind control (oh and I guess this would have killed hundreds of thousands of people too but omelettes eh?). The only reason Brainwave isn't on that list is because he ACTUALLY KILLED his kid. God I despise them.
