I liked the focus on Mike in this episode. but I personally think Pat should have some of the blame. The Thunderbolt literally tells Pat that Mke feels lonely, and after doing the wish for them, he thinks the best course of action is to...leave him by himself. Pat's basically treating Mike the same way the JSA treated Pat.

Love the Shade here. Just an interesting character that you sort of want to like. My understanding is that in the comics you can never really tell what side he's on. Sometimes he's a villain, but sometimes he helps the heroes and it's not entirely clear which it is at any given moment. They did a good job making that the case here. You can't trust him, but you also can't rule out that he really isn't up to anything bad. It could be either. Or something else entirely.

I love Mike was the focus this episode because I kinda feel bad for him feeling like he alone and lost that how I was for a few years and it's a normal thing The shade from the comics kinda play with both sides sometimes he a villain but he does help the heroes from time to time Now eclipso couldn't find any information all I know from the comics that he is the incarnation of the Wrath of God and the Angel of Vengeance until he turned evil and then the power went to the specter All you need to know is that eclipso is more powerful than the JSA he feeds off of negative and evil emotions the more he feeds the more powerful he becomes So hopefully the shade can help JSA hopefully

Love the Shade. Whether he’s a villain, a hero, or something in between, he’s always fun. I remember being a bit worried that they’d handle the character correctly when he was first teased at the end of season 1, but in just one episode all my fears vanished. Perfect casting and very well done.
