I personally think The Flash season 1 was better. It could be nostalgia talking but i loved the vibe of the early seasons and how colorful and vibrant it was. (One of the only things i dont like about Superman and Lois is the color grading. It looks washed out and too dull.) The pacing was great and the filler episodes were all good and contributed to the story in some way to give the characters more depth. Even though i like alot of the later seasons season 1 and 2 are top tier Arrowverse.

Superman and Lois, while a superhero show, has all along emphasized family as the main part of the show. Superman is a family man who also happens to be a superhero. He adversary is his half brother. The conflict is whether he choices humanity or krypton as his larger family and so on. So what better way to end then a cliffhanger all about family? It's just thematically what works.

I just realized that Supergirl Season 1 had a similar cliffhanger though 🤯 A mysterious ship landed when they were celebrating ... But I guess we didnt see who was in it in Supergirl

Tyler and Bitsie have finally convinced me that they are amazing as Clark Kent/ superman and Lois Lane they both knock it out of the park and their chemistry is insane I can believe they been together for years John Henry character development was so good starting off hating superman with a passion but after a lot of convincing he see superman as a hero, Ally and most importantly a friend I do understand why he needs to leaves especially with his daughter coming in Jordan and Johnathan I was worry about since the arrowverse. Don't know how to write teenagers and they come off annoying and they always put siblings against each other. But actors surprised me they actually act like real brothers they fight sometimes but at the end of the day they love and respect each other It's was sweet what Lois and boys did for Clark having a funeral for Jor-el it's was really sweet The family aspect of the show is the best part can't for your season 2 btw Tom Cavanaugh direct the season 1 finale which surprise me I think they gave him no restrictions for this episode Best arrowverse finale in my opinion

Great finale for a great first season. There are so many things I could say about this show, so much praise I could lavish upon it, but the one thing I really would like to address is just how much I love this version of Clark/Superman. Superman is my favorite fictional character, and I love him pretty much the same no matter the depiction (yes, even the more cynical DCEU version), but this version is so great for so many reasons. He is an older, more experienced guy, morally and ethically centered, confident not only in his abilities but also his relationships. He’s the type of Superman who never wavers in his belief in himself, his family, and humanity in general. He doesn’t give up. He’s not perfect, far from it in fact, and he knows it, he admits it and he is humbled by it. Plus, he a great husband and father. A true role model. I’m really looking forward to your reactions for season 2 and I hope you end up loving it as much as season 1.

Goddamn this show is literally perfect I honestly don't even care what tv show tropes they do the writers are killing it again and again
