Honestly after this episode I was convince that Elizabeth Tulloch was best actor on this show I'm mean the anger felt so real The flash should take notes and actually think of real reasons why people should get angry And I do agreed there is so many people named John And this is a really mature topic miscarriage I was is this the CW like really is the network actually treating this topic with care and respect

If you go back and rewatch the scene of Lois and Clark talking on the phone from early in the episode, it hits way differently after learning about Lois’s miscarriage. The acting in the scene is very subdued and just so good, especially Bitsie’s facial expressions and the way Tyler says “Natalie.” I also love the scene between Lois and Jonathan. The line about “extraordinary people in a family of super people” is wonderful and really gets to the heart of the episode and what makes Lois and Jonathan such interesting characters IMO. The one thing that bugs me about this episode however, is the fact that the DOD just lets John Henry go. I get that Superman has vouched for him or whatever, but that’s not how laws work. I mean, the guy caused meltdowns at two different nuclear facilities, sent his spaceship on a collision course with a city, has tried to murder Clark multiple times, murdered all those dudes while looking for more Kryptonite (yes they were bad guys, but cold-blooded murder is still wrong no matter how terrible the victim is), committed identity theft, and I’m pretty darn sure not a single one of the guns in his armory was obtained legally or registered properly. What I’m saying is, General Lane shouldn’t have let him go and most likely would face court martial for his actions.

Johnathan Kent (both Clark's father and his son) Jon Kent (Superboy) John Henry Irons (Steel) John Diggle (Spartan) John Smith (Red Tornado) John Constantine Johnathan Crane (Scarecrow) Johnny Thunder (Thunderbolt) J'onn J'onzz (Martian Manhunter) John Stewart (Green Lantern) John Corben (Metallo) Jonathan Allen (Johnny Quick) Jonathan Osterman (Dr Manhattan) John Dee (Doctor Destiny) Then there is of course Geoff Johns. He's pretty important. (There are a number of other John/Jon's that I didn't name.)

Johnathan Chambers (Johnny Quick) was a superhero from the Golden Age. Johnathan Allen (Johnny Quick) is the modern version of the character. He has appeared in New 52 and Rebirth. He is actually a villain and member of the Crime Syndicate of America. The two Johnny Quick's don't have the same exact powers.

Leslie Larr (Edge's assistant lady) is named after a classic silver age Supergirl villain named Lesla-Larr. Lesla was a Kryptonian scientist who was jealous of Supergirl's fame and swapped places with her a couple times. She's a fun villain who isn't used a lot so I liked the shoutout here.
