We finally got steel I got blindsided the first time I saw this. Episode I was like this has to be lex from a different earth. Elizabeth Tulloch is my favorite version of Lois lane at this point she has proven herself many times over I love how Jordan is actually struggling with his powers and not getting it right away hopefully when he eventually goes in the field he finds something that hides his identity and I hope it's not glasses

I really love how they write Jordan and Jon, they are brothers and they fight alot and bicker but they are family and will always love each other and forgive each other pretty quickly. Very realistic brother dynamic especially for being teenage brothers. Its very easy to go the annoying route but they managed to not do that.

Originally, The Stranger was meant to be an alternate Earth Lex Luthor, but due to a COVID-related production delay the writers were given the chance to polish their scripts and work on upcoming episodes in greater detail. During this production hiatus one of the writing staff floated the idea of having The Stranger be John Henry Irons aka Steel, and the rest is history. Personally, I think this is way more interesting development than The Stranger just being Lex. JHI is super cool and it’s awesome to see him on this show. And not toot my own horn, but I will say I did figure out the reveal before it happened. Black guy, bald head, power armor —it all points to Steel, and I knew there had to more we weren’t being told. Once they introduced Nat it all fell in place for me. Yes, the relationships are a bit different (JHI is Nat’s uncle in the comics, Lois isn’t her mother, the character’s name is Natasha not Natalie) but it was close enough for me to figure it out from all the evidence.

He didn't know Clark is Superman, when he saw the images of Clark in the trailer he said something along the lines of " this is her husband, he is not a threat". Also Leslie Lar could hear all this because she has powers, like they said before. We have seen the heat vision + the super hearing

This is not a criticism, but I think you are the first reactor I've watched that didn't freak out at the John Henry Irons (Steel) reveal.

John Henry Irons is the superhero Steel in the comics. He was saved by Superman and then when Superman died, he decided to honor him by becoming a hero called Steel. Unlike the three other copycat heroes who appeared following Superman's death (Cyborg Superman, Conner Kent/Superboy, and the Eradicator), Irons never claimed to be the real Superman. His niece, Natasha Irons (who Natalie is based on), also followed him into heroing as the second Steel and various other codenames. Natasha is a lesbian in the comics and notably dated the magical hero, Traci 13. John Henry in the comics is currently engaged to Lana Lang after her brief tenure as Superwoman. (I love them as a couple).
