It’s hard for me to say how I feel about this episode as it’s own thing. Even the first time I watched it, I just moved on to episode 2 right after. I didn’t watch this when it was airing. As such, it’s effectiveness as a pilot on its own never really meant anything to me. Anyway, a Fae is just any supernatural being. Lauren kind of started to explain but Bo got bored with the lesson. Humans are Homo Sapiens. With supernatural creatures, the Fae replaces the Homo. But the word that replaced Sapiens varies from species to species. For now, Bo is the only Fae we know the species for. Glad you enjoyed.

I know you felt you didn't get a lot of info but with this show there's a lot of layers to the onion so in time all should be answed and the human doctor told Bo what a Fae(it's their race) is but I think they cover again!

Lost Girl is one of my absolute favorite shows. I really do hope you eventually get to continue it when your schedule is more free after the end of some shows, whether you watch it on your own in the future or decide to react to it when you have a slot open. One thing about reactors is that most people react to the same universally-known or recently popular shows, which hey, is cool and all because please, give me all the reactions for those - but then there are gems like this I'd die for people to react to, and there are absolutely no reactions for them which is a pity, lol.

This is such a great show. It took me a few episodes to really get into but to have a woman whose sexuality was pushed to the forefront without being shamed for it was definitely quite the highlight for me and kept me intrigued. Also, my instant love for Kenzi really aided in my efforts, as well.

Oh man! I would be so excited for you to keep going with this, right now I'm only here for the buffyverse, but lost girl is one of my all time favs, i have the same kind of love for it that i do for buffy. It gets so good and its so much fun!

I think fae is more of a general term for magical creatures like how fairies were many different species in that alien ep of supernatural. lol. I loved the reaction, I hope that you continued to watch the show on your own or continue at some point because its really good, it has a lot of sexual scenes soo I can see how that might become a bit much to react to. lmfao.
