Honestly this show starts off slow the first few episodes. But it's genius! Some of the episodes are literally better than any other comedies out there.

Great reaction. You're right that this show has a lot of weird shit in it. Pretty much depends on it. Plus a LOT of references, references TO references, and "fourth wall" stuff. The show always struggled because the humor style was not popular with everyone. I can say that it gets better than this, even though this is a pretty good start. Since I don't think spoilers matter SO much on this one, I'll just say that there are quite a few episodes ahead where the entire style of the episode is based on a single popular culture thing ... a film, or TV show, or genre. The other thing I'll add is that it's a pretty decent satire of actual community colleges. Very exaggerated of course, but the kind of lovable loser vibe, the people of varying ages, and the fact that actually people are trying really hard to get somewhere by going to community collage all are really cool. I am a tutor at a community college and that's part of why I always sort of liked this show. Not a favorite, but enjoyable, with some really amazing episodes here and there.

I loved this! Please keep reacting to Community! It's such a brilliant show and really finds it's feet about halfway through the season. Definitely worth sticking with it <3

Ooohhh I love The Good Place. 😃 I have also watched Community, and I would say that I’m glad I did. It’s one of those shows that is fun to watch, has some great episodes and great characters.
