I always love the episodes where we get backstory on the characters, and I really love the look we get at the person Angel was before he became a vampire here.

This is where the show really starts to pick up in my opinion. You can never go wrong with Angel/Angelus flashbacks either.

Don't be too hard on Kate. Like anyone in intense grief, she's going to say some nasty things to people on her side that she doesn't ultimately mean because of that aforementioned grief.

I always loved this one. Especially learning that Liam took the name Angel/Angelus because his sister thought he was an Angel. Makes it even sadder. Also, I missed Darla. Always a treat to see her again.
