Yes! Jimmy Olsen is a white boy (talk about being gaslit) This episode was beautiful I think Tyler is my favourite superman now. And Cassies Dad is the dumbest fuckin man on the planet, his plan was to shoot Clark Kent in front of a crowd full of people, jail is too good for him he should’ve stayed living in his car.

Damn, I thought the last episode was good. This is one of the best of the series so far. I like how they treated his coming out with respect and didn't do it half-assed. It felt like it was the right thing to do and they did it in a way that made sense. Also, the show avoids becoming like the Flash where each episode he's showing someone he barely knows who he is. This is the Jimmy I wish was on Supergirl. Not that I didn't like the actor but let's be honest, he was nothing like Jimmy. There are certain characters that you cannot deviate from character type and it wasn't even the fact that he was African American. He didn't have any of Jimmy Olsen's traits. This Jimmy, however fit him perfectly. Yes, there are only 10 episodes in this season. So we have 3 more to go.

Okay, just a couple observations from the pre-show comment chat. 1- The irony of you bringing up Candices dad now of all episodes. 2- I personally (and almost everyone else I've seen but you...but people are allowed to disagree) thought the fight was great. 3- You had a comment mentioning "4 episodes", and you were confused thinking theres 11. Theres 10, that comment was on the episode 6 ep, which means 4 eps left from there, 7, which you were about to watch, 8,9,&10. Okay, now onto the episode.

Love this episode. Wild that Candices dad coming back was the breaking point after you were mentioning him. Also, the house prices, this is set in Kansas, which is kind of a part of the country no one lives in except those that have to live there for farming. So prices would be super cheap compared to a place in a major city. The S logos you noticed on the emblem, Bitsie Tulloch had tweeted about it a week or so ago that they had added that feature into this years costume, but that was truly the 1st super close up shot of it. As for the crew for the Daily Planet in the interview....might have been crew... because the director of the episode Gregory Smith (brother of Douglas Smith who played Jimmy Olsen") played the part of the first A.D. on the crew.

As for the "proving he's actually Superman" part: The Daily Planet had done in person interviews with Superman in the past (noteably the one where Clark overhears that Lois is in love with him). I'd wager people could just look up old interviews with Superman and see that they are in fact the same person. The glasses disguise is effective, if you don't suspect Clark, random face in the crowd style, or if you knew him well enough to go "Clark could never". Most people don't know Clark and what he usually acts like and are now seeing his face on a big ol' tv, having seen Superman up close before as well, because he's done interviews in the past. Plus Clark has no reason to hide his identity when walks around in costume anymore, so if anyone were to come up and ask him, he could just say "Yes, I'm Clark Kent."
