Nathan Dean went by the name Nathan Dean Parsons early in his career. He used the name Nathan Parsons in season one of Roswell. He then switched to Nathan Dean in season two. I have no clue why he can't settle on a name. I really enjoyed this episode. Everything about it did a good job setting up this season's arc: the flashbacks, the story with Maria's mom, and everything with Isobel. The ending made me want to see more of the flashbacks. I think that is what I wanted to see the most of. I think Maria has a right to be mad, and I agree she had a right to know. She just doesn't have a right to be mad at Liz. It wasn't Liz's secret to tell.

We didn’t get many scenes between Rosa and Liz in season 1 but they did a really good job making them feel like actual sisters. I guess that’s just the actors doing a good job and having chemistry together. I’m watching this along with you and I’m very invested. As much as I loved the original I dont think I was as invested as I was this one. I also love what they’ve done to Maria and Micheal’s relationship. It feels almost similar to the OG with the banter but it feels more mature

This was a really good episode. I liked the flashback and the surprise Max, I look forward to learning more about that, also it was cool to see Gaius Charles, being a fan of Friday Night LIghts. Also, didn't realize that the other actress, not Vicki, was Stephen Amell's wife the first time I watched this. When Maria found out in this episode, I was thinking, basically everyone knows, how didn't she yet? What with everyone in her friend group knowing, her mother always talking about aliens, Rosa being a really close friend, the fact that she almost got killed by Noah. I feel like it was about time she found out. I also get why she's angry, plus I never like the, your safer not knowing thing, is she really, her mother just disappeared for a month and again, she almost got killed by Noah, doesn't seem safer. Although, I hope she doesn't stay to angry at Liz, because it wasn't her secret to tell. Talking about secrets, I still feel weird that the dad doesn't know that his daughter is alive again. Everytime I see him, I think he should know...this is sad. Amber Midthunder was great in this episode, showing all the pain and difficulty she's having dealing with this, I really liked that scene with her and Liz. Honestly though, everyone was great in this episode, a lot of great emotional moments from everyone, minus Kyle, cause, was he in this episode? I don't think he was, but I honestly can't remember. It was also great to see Cameron again, but what's going on with her sister?
