I agree, the case of the week was kind of meh, but there were some good character moments, especially Root. And Michael Emerson's Irish accent is certainly better than some of the ones we've heard on other shows. And this episode did a better job than 5x04 at pulling the rug out from under us about Shaw still being in the simulation. This time I didn't catch on until the second explosion. Even the first one was believable enough, but then the others would have changed too much about the series and the city to have been real.
