One more week and thus we end another show, along with the Netflix Marvel verse. But before I go on about all of that, let me first deal with this episode. Jessica did what she did to try and protect Trish from herself. She got the evidence of Dorothy's murder and he basically will be getting life in prison. That way, Trish won't feel like she needs to kill him and also, it would be difficult for her to do so, being that he is in custody. I guess though, she underestimated Trish's rage and wanted to believe that she would come back to the light. Trish was just too far gone. I don't remember honestly what happens in the finale. But it has to be more interesting than most of this season, at least I hope so, for all our sakes. The show was for sure strongest in the first season. You would be hard pressed to find someone that disagrees with that. It's too bad the following 2 seasons didn't live up to that. If it weren't for seasons 2 and 3, I would rank this show, season 1 anyway, really high up as one of the strongest of the verse, along with Daredevil. Looking forward to seeing how it all ends and also hoping the character returns in the MCU.

You don’t like anyone in this season besides Jessica? What about Power Ranger or Detective Costa? Jessica’s assistant seems ok to me. She has attitude but in the end does seem to care. So, Erik senses darkness now in Trish. That’s a bad sign. Why the hell did psycho leave the hospital, even without the police guards, he is still safer their if for no other reason, there are witnesses. Maybe he is jones’ing for some more kills (I did a pun). Well maybe not, Trish attacked him there anyways. OK, he has got to be stupid if he thinks Jessica will kill her sister to protect him. Wow, nice throw. She pitched Trish all the way over to next building. What I don’t get is why Jessica went back to her office, why not stay and try to talk to Trish when she wakes up? Yeah, I saw figured he would somehow capture Jessica when she talked to him about him “wanting her in his chair, to see her truth”. It felt a bit forshadowy. Ah, so Jessica was making sure that psycho had the thought is his head to capture her, that’s why she said it. Nice trap. I think Jessica let Trish go in the hope that the psycho getting thrown in prison would satisfy her this is was Trish wanted in the beginning. But I think seeing her mom killed pushed her over the edge. She literally has become a female version of the Punisher. I mean that is what he does, find criminals and kill them. Interesting portrayal for Erk Gelden. He is in the comics too. But there is the villain Mind-Wave. His powers are different. He has ESP and uses a helmet that magnifies his Esp. He also has a mechanized vehicle that he controls with his mind called the Think Tank. He uses it to rod banks as well as fight superheroes. He was a Daredevil villain for the most part. For the series as a whole. I really liked it. For a marvel show it was very dark. But not nearly as dark as the comic. That comic was so bad it couldn’t get a CCA stamp and in fact had an Explicit Content stamp instead. The best stuff of course was the first season with Killgrave. This makes sense, as he was as much responsible for ‘creating’ the Jessica Jones character as the gene editing experiment done on her. FYI, in the comics Jessica got her powers the old fashion way, toxic spill. I’m ok with the change though as that’s how Daredevil got his and with the connection in these 2 shows, it would seem a bit repetitive. The second season, with the origins of Jessica powers, her mother found both alive and a killer was also very good. I also have enjoyed this season as well. Pitting Jessica against a non-powered serial killer this time. Interesting that in this show each season pitted Jessica against serial killers, Killgrave, her mom and Sallinger. Only to now, it seems, to pit her against Trish. **SPOILERS WARNING FOR BUFFY** Slightly reminiscent of Buffy S6. Lame villain gets arrested at end of season only to switch to new adversary for last 2 episodes, a close friend that over the season had become obsessed with darkness.
