Idling in the middle (Patreon)

Idle time is never wasted. Boy and I have been busy busy testing aka goofing around with melt and pour soap making. Izzy and I are both happiest when we’re busy bees moving and creating changes in our world. Waiting is the hardest game I’ve played. In collaboration patience is a leading role. We sit back and wait for the time or return or healing of our fellow collaborators because we believe the art will be richer with their presence. Also a cappella is not my favorite way to sing…. So we wait and keep busy. I spent a long time feeling rushed to compile and produce and the music suffered, I suffered and so did the band…my friends. Now the things I want are to feel joy making music. I miss spending time together and collaborating. We’ve all been in rotating too sick, traumatized or healing to play or create together since the beginning of pandemia. Before that we were in survivor mode trying to build a home while being homeless. So the past decade feels like that super messy period in the Fibonacci sequence just before pattern occurs. Looking forward to being earthside.
