This is a brand spanking new song "We are an Us". Just earth side. Born in a few minutes of peaceful calm.  This was the moment when boy sat on the couch, put his headphones on and played Toca Boca Lab on his tablet for 10 minutes of blissful and studious quiet time.  This track is from a file we call "The Rememberum" which is where we keep first recordings of new songs to be remembered after they've been soon forgotten. I still remember the days of losing entire song writing sessions because they weren't recorded.  We often refer back to these "Rememberum" tracks to get a feel for what we wanted to see in a song. But besides that, this song was so much fun to write together.  The lyrics came first as a poem which were beautifully interpreted by Abe into melody form.  All the kinks will be worked out by the final recording and with all the cleaning up and perfecting there are some sweet spots that get rubbed out.  A dilution occurs within the concentrate of our creativity and souls and there is always something lost, because it wasn't good enough, because of this or that, just because .......

It's good to remember the roots of where we are coming from because it helps us to know where we want to go next and reminds us or our growth in the process. 

Do we continue along the path of least resistance and succeed whilst not learning or growing?

Do we venture to and over the edge with the certainty of failure while acquiring the most insight and knowledge along the way, growing beyond anything we could have ever imagined? Our restlessness drives us forward into stumbling failure and our highest potential. We do not only aim to push the limits. Our goal is to break them so we learn where the edge resides. 

Do not worry about failure. Failure is a welcome mat to ultimate success. 

Growth is messy and uncomfortable. If we can get accustomed to being the student...being uncomfortable in growing process, then it no longer becomes uncomfortable and it becomes part of the exciting journey.  

Let go of knowing. Get used to Listening & Learning. 

Do not be afraid to be the fool.  We learn more and have more fun doing it. 

All these things are Mantras we say to find comfort in grounding within the madness of existence. These are things we try to live by everyday.  "Failures are opportunities to learn and grow", something we live by to give ourselves room to rest and retry again and again. Grow further and stronger.  Whether it be in building, creating, making music, baking, communicating and all the moments in between, we give ourselves the room to be imperfect and therefore the permission to relax and enjoy the journey. This Audio is NOT PERFECT!!!! But it's probably the most fun we will have recording this song until it's finalized. Now we begin assembly.
