I've been getting Studio Ghibli vibes for a few episodes, now (having never seen a Studio Ghibli Film): especially when the melodic singing associated with Ersulon kicks up. I finally got them most intensely when Grandma Wren said he had to pick a guise that would work as long as he wasn't in direct sunlight. My suspicions were confirmed when Erika literally said the words out loud. My imagination is running on all cylinders when Brennan sets a scene, painting a picture in a style I've only scene images of on social media.

“Ass over tea kettle” gang, Erika! Let’s GOOOOO!

I moved this week, and all I have to say is thank you for the best podcast to listen to while unpacking and organizing everything. It's made the process an absolute blast. My new neighbors probably think I'm deranged from the way I've been cackling.

Kelly McP

Just another note of thanks for emotionally destroying me several times per episode. 💜

Welibwe

I've cried so many times and laughed so many times just during this children's story. I am so excited to start the main campaign

I fell asleep and am unable to rewind these episodes... Sure would like to listen to this story.

This series has already moved me in ways I cannot describe in words. Thank you for this

K80

You should be able to scrub through them to go back to the beginning or where you last remember hearing.

So funny, heartwarming, and heartbreaking.

7.5 mins in and I'm crying already. Good job

Hey tripkt, every single podcasting app I have ever seen allows you to rewind and replay any episode. There's probably a setting or a button you've simply overlooked that will will solve this for you. Also check out the FAQ on our front page for podcasting tips and recommendations! -t

Wonderful work. I hope this stays going for years.

I would do ANYTHING, to get the song that plays when Eursulon does anything uplifting (like becoming the billy) on my music apps. It brings me a joy indescribable.

This mini series has taken me through a wild roller coaster of emotions and I’m not ready to get off. PLEASE make more episodes of them being children!!! There’s something about their voices and choices as these little ones that pulls much harder on the heartstrings.

Damn why do all of you have to make me cry like that. That was incredible!

I am currently listening to these while I work out, and my god I was never expecting that I would have to wipe tears from my eyes in the middle of cardio. But I swear I was crying when Brennan was describing how Suvi cast her spell with the same very cloak given by her mother. Incredible stuff, y’all, and I haven’t even gotten out of the children’s adventure yet. You guys rock.

oh this is what I want to see before watching an episode that just made me weep :P i have to keep reminding myself that I kind of have to expect it with this group

StressedbutTrying

Am I the only person screaming that Grandma Wren is Baba Yaga?!

Kyle Cupelli

Jesus, Brennan, I’m at work. Take it easy.

Genna

"he does not like this world, but he likes it here" 😭😭😭 ouch Lou, my heart

John

Granny weatherwax meets spirited away, totally beautiful, you are all amazing.

Literally my EXACT thought from the moment we met Grandmother Ren.

Im Slightly

Amazing storytelling. Lou's Wild One is perfect. The way you gave life to that idea of something completely different, but deeply known through stories from long ago, was beautiful. The voice, the breath, the Aloof and curious spirit. Magic. In Finnish myths Otso the bear rules the forest, the world of spirits, and I'm feeling this deeply.

I just cried on my commute to work so I'm suing 😭
