Hey folks, while I work on the Gloomhaven video, here's the poll for my next How To. And I think I'm going to start adding a bit of info about each choice from now on.

Spirit Island: I like to refer to this game as Settlers of Catan in reverse. You play as the spirits of an island trying to repel the invading colonizers. It's beautiful, it's one of my favorite games, and it's complicated enough to need a good video.

Ladies and Gentlemen: An asymmetrical game about earning money, buying dresses, and being fabulous. I keep putting this on the poll, despite its low numbers, because for a seemingly simple party-style game, it's surprisingly difficult to learn and teach.

Space Base: I've talked about Space Base a fair amount on the blog, you may have seen me play it with the Brothers Murph on their stream, I like this game. You build a fleet of ships that get activated on yours and other players' turns by a roll of the dice. It's a lot like Machi Koro, but with a lot of variation in available cards.

Ok, so for this last one I had an idea. I like teaching the big games, I think it's what is most needed in board gaming right now, but I love the quicker easier games too. Of course, spending 3 months working on just one of these games would be silly and not deserving of your hard earned money, so I figured why not do three quick games at once: Hanabi, Sushi Go, and Splendor. All fairly easy to learn, but put them together and you've got a solid game night.

Anyway, I'll leave this poll up until the end of August, so make sure to vote!

And as always, thank you so much for helping RTFM grow.
