That’s one of the reasons I love Aaron so much, he’s SO good at keeping everything a secret. If these guys guess what’s gonna happen, good on them, but if they don’t they’re always surprised because even in the discussions he tries to lead things without spoiling anything. It’s great. Eric does an OK job on DB Super with Shane but you can tell when he’s bracing for something awesome to happen in the episode 😂

Really weird episode. The president showing from the inescapable box being brushed of, The 3 months skip, the flirting was executed weirdly and other little things. And I can see the certified Moffat unnecessarily convoluted plot creeping his head, I did enjoy the goodbye to River that reflects her fear of losing him.And last scene is fairly intriguing on a first watch with no spoiler.

One cute element of this episode is that Doctor telling Nixon to record everything. Given humans instantly forget anything about the Silence immediately after hearing them - this could explain the gaps in Nixon's Whitehouse tapes... There are no gaps - but humans just forget about the stuff that's in the gaps because it's about the Silence.
