Neighvember Days 10 through 20 (Patreon)

This part of the challenge was a bit of a slog for me because I was sick, and you can tell by the quality of the first page. But you got to be okay with drawings that don't come out so great and in the end I got some nice compliments about them anyway <3 I was okay with no finishing this challenge due to how I felt in my last post but I still wanted to draw horses so here they are!

Day 10 The Pie which is a horse featured in National Velvet! In the movie his name comes from a man who calls him a pirate. In the book, I believe its because he's a piebald!

Day 11 Tulpar. Quoted from wiki: "Tulpar is a winged or swift horse in Turkic mythology,  similar to Pegasus. Tulpar is also in state emblems of Kazakhstan and  Bashkortostan. Tulpar came to be due to the hunting lifestyle of the people of Central  Asia. The people hunted with horses, with the company of a bird of prey."

Day 13 Belgian Draft these big boys <3 Gentle giants who are smart and are said to have a sense of humor and good sense. They can also weigh up to 2,400 lbs and are 6 feet high at the shoulder.

Day 14 Gingrolet. This was one of my fav to do. Gringolet is the horse of Sir Gawain from the story The Green Knight. This piece was based off the 2021 movie.

Day 15 Knabstrupper a Danish breed known for their cool spots. There's only like 600 existing in the world ;u;

Day 16 Clydesdale A Scotland breed that's another big draft horse breed, one of the most recognizable horses in the world. A lot of people associate them with being the budweiser horse. Like the Belgium Draft, theyre smart and very gentle <3

Day 17 Frou Frou from Aristocats! I copied these sketches I saw on Andreas Deja's blog talking about animation. Milt Kahl was in charge of her character design and actually didn't know how to approach what she should look like.

Day 18 Incitatus the horse of Emperor Caligula, an all around terrible dude. Incitatus was his favorite horse he loved so much they said he wanted to make them a member of their senate. After Frou Frou I wanted to play with disney styles so this got a Hercules style XD

Day 19 Friesian. Another awesome breed, known to have been used back in medieval days as war and work horses. They're strong and agile, and have amazing hair!

Day 20 Maximus This is another favorite <3 I wanted to copy the styles of Jin Kim and Glen Keane who did many concept pieces for Maximus. I love their pencil work and expressions. The top pieces were copies  to get a feel and then the bottom ones were me trying to copy the style without references
