IMPORTANT UPDATE: Future of Patreon. Getting prepared. (Patreon)

Hi folks.

Ok so... don't worry, I'm not going anywhere and things will continue as planned. However, In light to whats going on with patreon, I think I have to address this now, in case something does happen.

As you may or may not have heard, Patreon is cracking down on NSFW content. This isn't new. Been going on for at least a year now.

However, a lot of artist friends of mine are getting axed by patreon recently and it seems that the site is going really hard on porn content now. And it doesn't stop to what you post on their site by the way. If you post something they don't like outside of patreon, they'll shut your page over it. Which... I really can't wrap my head around. This is going too far.

Seems to me like patreon is trying to get rid of all NSFW content creators off their website. That's their choice. (A dumb one I think, but it's their company, they do what they want with it).

So far, I've never had any issues and I hope it stays that way.  But considering what I'm seeing. I think it's no longer a matter of if, but a matter of when. As Patreon just seems to go harder and harder on NSFW creators.

So, I just want to say this now. Should Patreon shut down my page or ask me to censor my content, I'm going to do what other creators are doing and move to Subscribestar.  It's an other website like patreon, but they seem to be MUCH more welcoming to NSFW creators like me.

I'm not moving there now and don't plan to do so unless patreon forces my hand. I hope It never comes to that, but if it does. Yeah, I'll pack up and move my content to an other site that is more open to what I do. If they don't want my content. that's fair. It's their choice. But I have my choice too. And I frankly don't want the stress to having to bend my content to their liking. 

So for now, don't worry about a thing. Who knows, maybe patreon will calm down, and I'll be allowed to keep doing what I'm doing. But considering the direction they are taking. I really don't feel safe here anymore. Just want to be real. I don't want to leave the site, and I hope I wont' have to. But at this point, I'm prepared for anything.

So if one day you see my patreon page content getting shut down. Don't panic. I do have a plan B if that would happen. If for whatever reason Patreon decides it doesn't want me anymore, I'll just move to subscribestar and invite you all to move with me. (Tiers and rewards will be the same, and I will re-post all my old content there).

Alright. There you have it. I just needed to keep you guys informed. Things are not looking good with Patreon. Honestly, I don't feel safe or wanted here anymore. Hopefully they won't take action against me like the others, and I'll be fine. But If not, don't worry, we'll just move to a new home.

So for now, don't worry about it.
