Hey folks, as we are nearing the end of the month, I'm making a news report on the status on the next patch.

As much as tried to get this patch ready by tomorrow, I'm going to need a bit more time to iron things out (the pleasure of game development). I want to assure you all that I'm talking about a few more days. Either Next Wednesday or Friday.  Not delaying this by a full month. It's coming. It's almost here. Just not done yet.

The progress on this new patch has been good, and I really think you'll like the new additions coming into play with the Splatter encounter and how this will make future encounters even better.


In the mean time, here is the current status of the patch:


- Creating new combat mechanics to flavor bosses and encounters. Such as managing multiple targets and synergy between enemies. Adding Armored type enemies. 100% done. This was a requirement for the Madame Bijou encounter, so consider this some progress for that boss as well.


- "Training" events with splatter allowing Ash to learn new techniques: 100% done.


- New assets needed for this update: Such as new icons for the new abilities, and new visual queue for a new splatter attack (Screen shot here). 80 % Done.


- Additional dialogues for the full SPLATTER segment: Done (Just missing the GO dialog)


- Optimization: Just identified, one important source of the frame rate drop during combat. The encounter with Splatter allowed me to see things D-TOX didn't really show me. One of the glaring things I noticed: The "Boss preparing a grab" image animation sequence right before a big attack (The same with D-TOX when she laugh just before prepping her mask for you), creates a MASSIVE frame rate drop. Which in turn, would create the big pauses and lags in combat. After removing one of three visual effects, Spatter's fight ran smooth almost every time. I'm not saying that this fixes everything, but it should GREATLY improve performance during combat. For now, this change is only applied to Splatter, and I'll be happy to read your feeback on it. I will do the same change on the D-Tox one later, and I believe this should overall make performance during combat much smoother.


- Splatter Gameover: 20% done. The animations for these are done, I'll have to make adjustments in their frame rates, add the dialog etc... This will be my main focus this weekend. So that Monday/Tuesday I can do a polish pass. And see if bugs need to be fixed after that or ready for release.


- The Slut Winning event to proceed to the next level: This will be added end of august. 


And there you have it. Thanks for your patience. Estimating releases for a game is much trickier than just making images. I hope you'll understand. Rest assured, it's almost ready and will be in your ends very soon.

This delay will not prevent me starting work on new game assets for MADAME BIJOU. And I'll be starting off with the cool stuff: Drawing her Dolls, which will come in two different forms (SERVANT Dolls and WARRIOR dolls).
