So a great point was made that winning the lottery for a character you don't particularly like is really not that great. 

So I might have a solution for that.

I could limit the names in the lottery to those who actually voted for the winning character. This way, it would guarantee that who ever wins has interest in being involved in the creative process. Also also increase their chances.

However, this would leave those who did not vote for the character out of the lottery.


What do you guys think?

I say leave the lottery open, but allow the person to back out if they don't want to discuss the character in question and draw again. Like if that person doesn't watch a show the character may be from.

We will see what everyone thinks, but I share your opinion. I will see what everyone feels about this proposition but I might actually have an other solution in the worst case scenario
