This is more for me than it is for y'all, but I'm so excited I just had to share!!!!

I just found a printer locally who can get me a proof in 24 hours and have prints ready in under a week!!!

This is AMAZING compared to prior, I had to wait 2 weeks just for a proof, and another 2 weeks for prints since I got them all internationally. (I ended up not getting proofs because it just took way too long)
Shipping was killer, I paid all in USD (which is more than the Canadian dollar), plus duties, and then also they took 2+ weeks to arrive.

So what this means prints will arrive to you guys at least 1-2 weeks sooner than usual, PLUS it gives me waaaaay more time to complete the illustrations. 😭 It's a HUGE load off my shoulders!

Big thanks to my mom for doing the legwork on this LOL😭😭😭💞💞

I may even start running the polls BEFORE the 1st of the month to give me even more time. This is up in the air though, I don't want things to get too confusing.

🤗🤗🤗 happy happy happy!

I loooove the soft/colorful lineart of your latest paintings soooo so much. It looks so soft and nice and is a nice difference to the black lineart many people (me included) use for their drawings. It gives the entire picture a completely different outlook. May I ask what pencils you use for your colorful linearts? I am always afraid that my pencils will bleed into the watercolors 😕 many greetings 🤗💖

Thank you so much!! I feel good I'm finally sort of starting to figure that out myself (the soft lineart thing). I use Pilot Colour Eno 0.7 for the lineart. Sometimes it bleeds a little but I try to make the lineart colour match the colour that it will be. (For example, the wing is lined in a purple pencil and her hair is lined in pink) If there's too much bleed I can always cover it up with gouache tho :) Hope this helps~

Oh right also, after I paint everything, I do go back with another layer of pencil +coloured micron pens where it's applicable. I don't do it to the whole thing, only on the darkest parts, so that there's still a soft look to the whole thing c:
