On this month's Animation Damnation, the guys are chatting about the totally bonkers plush toy cartoon adaptation, Pound Puppies! The episode in question, which turned out to be the last they ever made, is "Cooler, Come Back." Originally airing December 19, 1987, this episode features dogs with an underground lair, canine-related black magic, and a series of dogs set for execution while their leader makes wisecracks! PLUS: Who thought Hogan's Heroes, but with dogs, was really a good idea?

Re: the Big Dog shirt, the 90s are back. I work for a university and everyday on campus it's a bunch of kids wearing mom jeans that are acid-washed, stupid solid white Reeboks and mid-calf white socks. I saw a guy with one of those crappy airbrushed Tupac shirts you used to see all the time in the 90s. Last Thursday I witnessed a young woman giving a guy her number by writing it on his hand with a jelly pen, 90s are back, Buddha have compassion for our existences

The dog upstate happened to me except way worse. My mind told me when I was a kid that my dog Oreo, a Dalmatian, got trained to be a seeing eye dog for a blind lady in Chicago and that’s why he left. She told me later on they put him down because of his “violent behavior.”

Catnip is POSSIBLY SAFE for most adults when taken by mouth in small amounts. Cupful amounts of catnip tea have been consumed without serious side effects.
