On this month's AD, Mummy Week continues in the WHM-iverse as the gang chats about the totally soulless animated adaptation, The Mummy! In the pilot episode, "The Summoning," which originally aired back on September 29, 2001, this show features uninspired animation, that dreadful child character, and a plot so dull it forced the gang to talk about Leisure Suit Larry for nearly 15 minutes! PLUS: Hulk Hogan plans on being mummified before his journey to the afterlife!

Can’t believe this cartoon could not heal the nation 2 weeks after 9/11

I'm in the middle of Back to the Future and the fact that Eric is still on the hunt for the real killers of 9/11 shows true commitment.

Never even heard of the Mummy animated series, but then again I left for Navy boot camp a week after 9/11 I never played Leisure Suit Larry, but on my first ship someone had loaded Jake's Booty Call games on the Nipr share drive https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jake%27s_Booty_Call

I deeply appreciate Andrew's scarab 180 The Mummy cartoon: I'm watching my least favorite thing, these goddamned scarabs! The Mummy Returns: this garbage-ass movie would've been better with some goddamned scarabs! I like the feeling that the movie was so bad, it would've been improved by a thing someone dislikes

I never post this but I think it needs to shared. Gentlemen- I am a real archaeologist and I’m here for the questions….

Steve's "Sub-Goro" and "Dom-Goro(Dominant)" joke and Andrew making it into a Dominic Toretto- Goro made me go into a Dom DeLuise fat guy laughing fit. Had to literally stop the podcast and get something to drink from laughing so hard. You gentlemen, are seriously the best! Been a fan since 2011, here's to another 10 hilarious years!

Did the lads sound a little tired to anyone else?

is there a real life archaeologist that is despised in the archaeological world?

Sarah Nichols

Maybe on an academic level but certainly not in the way the movies tend to portray- and I would say despised would be too harsh a word. However, it’s safe to say almost all archaeologists love to hate Toht from Raiders of the Lost Ark- who was totally a character based off of a real archaeologist according to legend…
