Both yolka's dad and mom is very successful businesspeople but they live in pretty small house in a moderately elite-but-not-so-much housing complex. I know this kind of people who still choose to live in fairly-modest-for-their-level-of-riches house despite having so much money. Sociable and have a lot of friends and good neighbor type.

Also the same reason why yolka moved out after his EPD-- his house was fairly small so his EPD is making his parents uncomfortable. Easily agitated and easy to get angry is one of the symptoms, yolka said in early chapter (mock-bonding chapter) that alphas would fight him, it is true. Poor yolka TwT

He had a very good relationship with his parents before that. But it's more awkward now though a decade has passed.

Edit: I'm back hahaha so yeah my mom has acute appendicitis (?) and now we are in the hospital waiting for surgery. I heard this is pretty common so hopefully everything will go well and she can go back soon;; Idk since my dad gone she has been falling ill with different illness every month, please long live and well because I still want to be an useless daughter at home o)---(

Yolka's dad is so rude but not without reason, this punk yolka always hook up with very-very beautiful girls, gulla is actually the first boy catch his eyes (because he's also very beautiful) hence yolka's dad who is a proud dad "i know my son the best!" suddenly don't know him anymore and is confused😂😂 but he quickly like andra who is the master of playing good and pleasant boy around eccentric old people.

why the comments until now is all about yolka's mom?! Is it because of destructive power of booba?! Author admires women who own these big "heart" because it's so heavy. Moreover, bras for this size is either hella expensive or affordable but hella ugly. You have big asset now you also have big responsibility😭😭😭😭😭
