Inside the Dig Site (Patreon)

"It wasn't until we unearthed the inner chambers that we understood what we had truly found. As we broke ground on the entrance, we realized that this was not a place of worship as we had been told. Laborers such as myself were assured of our safety, yet here we stood before a dormant power that we could not fathom.

As we entered the threshold, the glyphs came to life, as if responding to our presence. Thunder roared from within the tomb, and an energy permeated the very air, piercing through my chest and passing through me and the fellow diggers as if we didn't exist.

I was not a devout man, nor did I hold many convictions, other than to put food in front of my family. But that lightning that pierced through me, while doing no harm, left a scar shaped in the Eight Pointed Star. I was bestowed knowledge I could not have possibly known, and now she speaks to me every day, as if at my side, guiding me forward. I did not choose this life of pious servitude. It was chosen for me, and now I wear this responsibility with pride."

Hey all!

Following on from the last map, the dig site, we have this long forgotten burial temple. A great little encounter map, and hopefully final resting place of those pesky players who keep asking difficult questions.

On a completely different note can you believe that this month marks my 5th year making Dungeons and Dragons maps?! Absolutely crazy. Thanks to you all for your continued support!
