Hey everyone,

I need your help!

If you look at your monthly charge statements for Patreon, which you can do over here, you'll see you were not charged for the Greek Bath House map release.

This means my monthly income is a third less than it should have been, and you all effectively got a map for free! This was a complete mistake and an error with my Patreon.

If you were a member when I released that map I'd really appreciate it if you go to the following link and donate the amount you should have been charged.

It'll take 1 minute to restore balance and really help me out. As I say, it's due to an error that I have effectively lost a 3rd of my income last month. :(

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this and either way thanks for all your support over the 5 years I've been making maps! I hope you and your players have had a blast using them and that you can take some time outta your day to help me fix this mistake!  :)

Best,

Matt

If the error was the fault of the company that hosts your product, then isn't Patreon liable for losses sustained instead of the consumer? (Happy to contribute, and love your work, but this sounds like compensation should be the responsibility of the employer)

I am currently discussing the issue with Patreon but they have said that they cannot go back and retroactively charge Patrons for a post. I would like to think that as the issue is due to their UI giving me inaccurate information that they would make up the shortfall but I am not optimistic that they'll do this and can't wait for them to come up with a solution as they are being very slow to respond. The relationship I have with Patreon is an odd one, I would not be classified as an employee but a customer who uses their service to handle transactions and share content. Either way, thanks for your support! :)
