Disclaimer:
Microsoft Excel is UTF-8-impaired!! So, you might need additional tool if you’re exporting non-unicoded game (ie. Japanese game).
"What is this 'TES encrypted' file you’re talking about?"
If you find anything like inside your Data folder, that means the developer used the infamous TES tool to encrypt your file. This supposed to prevent any attempt to modify or peek into their RPG Maker scripts. Well, this attempt was futile… since a project was created to decrypt their TES data. Translator++ used this tool under the hood to deliver hassle-less translation experience for you.
Changing the behavior of Translate selection function (ctrl+g).
In the previous version, pressing ctrl+g will put the translation on the predefined column whichever translator engine you currently use. For example, if you use google as your default translator engine, then the translation will be placed on the 3rd column from the left (this can be changed though)… but this behavior is prone to causing confusion. So I changed the behavior a bit. Now the translation will be placed on whichever cell you’ve been selected.
As usual, you can download latest version of Translator++ on Patron’s repository.
Enjoy!
