From "Attack of the Queen Bs Month" on Drive-In Theater, here's the interview that inspired me to start this page. When the legendary Ms. Julie Strain passed away earlier this year, I really wanted to see this footage, but wasn't able to find it anywhere online. So I figured it was time to stop waiting around for someone else to put out all these long lost bits o' Drive-In history. I'd just find a way to do it myself. If you're reading this, that means you, too, wanna help keep the Drive-In alive, and I thank you with all my heart for being part of this with me! :) <3333

Just finished Fit to Kill, which is somehow my first Sidaris film. Amazing from start to finish. I gotta try and find Unnamable II.

Watching this segment reminded me of the feeling I had whenever I was watching Drive-In Theater, and why I never really felt like I was watching something I wasn't supposed to at my age: Joe Bob never made it seem that way. He asked very matter of fact questions that I had myself ("What would embarrass you in a film?" is a regular question I had about the acting craft in general). Basically, I really wanted to be an adult at that age (I was 14 when this aired), and watching this was like hanging out with a couple of adults who didn't chase me out of the room, nor did they speak to me like I was stupid. This was a nice walk down memory lane!

Love this! Never heard of her before until now but I know now I had to have seen her since I'm a huge Naked Gun fan. Loved the little fact about being up for Batman Forever. That woulda been great.
