From "Femme Fatale Month" on Drive-In Theater...

JB had been telling how crazy this interview was for years, so I was stoked to finally get to check it out! I don't really think it's all that crazy, but JB does show off some chest hair so ***bonus*** for those of us who grew up crushing on him. ;) (I also found an "unedited" version of this interview in the archives...At some point I'm gonna have to digitize that to find out if there was any additional craziness the public never got to see. :)

AFAIK, the movie never even got a DVD release. It's VHS-only, meaning you have to track a copy down or take a trek to certain parts of teh Innurwebz to find a copy somebody has uploaded.

WOW, holy moly, this interview is firing on all cylinders in ALL kinds of directions! Firstly Sally seems like she is kinda bananas & maybe not necessarily in a good way? Haha, either that or she was snorting some lines backstage (I’ve had my moments so I ain’t judging!) 2. Was really interesting hearing her breakdown the actors studio/ method acting stuff 3. I wouldn’t exactly call unbuttoning someone’s shirt flirting Sally haha, but u do u, or anyone she wants from what it seems! 4. Luv how they kinda almost got into a friendly but heated debate on wether her character was diabolical & Sally just couldn’t or didn’t want to see it 🤷🏻‍♂️ 5. Seems like Sally may be borderline homophobic w the couple comments she makes? Yikes! Haha (I get it, it was a diff time) Like gay ppl are the only ones that have aids lol & then there is that one cut to the close-up of JB where he looks at the camera after she makes another off color remark. JB looks like he wants to comment while also not wanting to go there, but that look said enough.

Wow. This was very interesting to see! This was slightly before my viewing time (I would have been more 1994 and later) so this was very cool! I am always fascinated hearing how method actors get into their roles, so that was a nice bonus. This is someone who clearly loves her craft, and discussing it. Yes, I winced a little at Sally's gay comment, but then remembered this was 1993 and she likely would look at this now and wince. Just two years before this, I had a health teacher saying "Oh, the part in the literature I gave you about getting AIDS from a toilet seat was found to be not true, boys and girls" (I was 11 at the time), soooo, yeah. The times were the times.
