Hey all, how is it going! The next episode style update for Death’s Avenger is done and of to Tomon, who can hopefully tell me simple things like ‘wait, no, this character isn’t acting in character’ and ‘um, your description of this or that needs work’ before I post it. I have gotten FILFy Teacher back from one of it’s editors, and gone through it, and am only waiting for Nad Destroyer to look through his chapter. Be warned, I may split up the chapter – its 70,000 words long now (added 2,000 words while editing…) but even if I do that I will post the chapters one after another. No news on Horse yet, but I hope Hiryo will be able to get it back to me by Tuesday.

Oh, and Beleriond: I saw your recent PM on how my snakes weren’t acting likes snakes. I will go back and correct that, and then add that some of them were local breads that were more reptile than snake, with different jaws when I post the next episode.

Anyway, here is the small story poll for September! I will be posting the Patron Only poll when I post the Death’s Avenger Episode style.

Anyway, this month there’s only three choices since I am going to be updating Horse by the end of the month. The choices are:

A Fate Touched In Middle Earth – HP/Tolkien Crossover: Azog launches his attack at the alliance of dwarves, men and elves. Archers duel as Harry unveils his defensive schemes and he and Gandalf show off a bit. The front buckles, but according to plan rather than enemy action, pulling back to a prepared position.  But Azog proves craftier than any orc before, pushing an attack from an unlooked for direction while utilizing trolls, an enemy few can beat in close quarters. Harry uses a new type of magical attack to… enlightening results. The dwarven and human battle line breaks under pressure, but Thorin and his forces plug the hole, saving many dwarves, elves and humans alike. Crows prove annoying, causing death and disorientation alike, while the elves start to take losses to Azog’s surprise assault, forcing Thranduil to make a choice. The battle turns this way and that until aid looked-for only by one old man arrives from the air and from the forest arrive, once more giving life to the defenders. Then Thorin finds himself face to face with his old nightmare…

Stallion of the Line – Ranma/One Piece crossover: With the end of Aqua Laguna, plans are made and the pirates start training once more, while Chopper continues his work, only to have to fight off an attempt to kidnap him. Elsewhere, a pink-haired captain meets with a black-haired Empress and plans are laid to defeat this rising piratical power. The Adam wood arrives, allowing work to really start on the New (as yet unnamed) Resolve, with Laki, Franky and Luffy working on it and arguing in turns. Meanwhile, Akainu comes home to a cold reception and is given his orders, orders which will spell a fiery end for many a pirate crew. As Resolve goes through some growing pains, Garp arrives with his Fists of Love itching like crazy for more than one head. The result of that ‘discussion’ is interrupted by the soft-spoken Makino, who gains the pirates a bit more time, while Garp does the one thing no other marine would: apologize. A few days pass with work becoming ever more frantic and new bounties arrive, forcing Franky to admit to a choice he has long since made. Garp’s procrastination is noticed at last and orders are given even he cannot ignore, forcing the pirates to run, unveiling their new ship in spectacular fashion.

Magic of the force – SW/HP crossover: While the war is still stuck in third gear, Harry and Aayla head to meet with Master Gallia at her space station before heading on to Ruusan. At both stops they are welcomed and discover that they are not the only ones who have been very, very busy. The Ruusan Sector’s representatives tell Harry and the others of certain moves they have made declaring formal war on the Confederacy and proves to, surprisingly, be in the position to contribute ships rather than simply resources and personnel. What Master Fay and Lily have been up to astonish Harry and Aayla even further, although not nearly as much as being within the field of Fay’s Force Font does the younglings and Jedi with them. Some of Fay and Lily’s work, however, have long-reaching implications, having created an entirely new way for the Force to shows its power: potions. Meanwhile, Anakin finishes his retraining in the temple to Mace’s satisfaction if not happiness. Spending time with family and introducing Ahsoka goes by quickly, but soon Harry and the others need to return to the wider universe, as the war starts to ramp up once more and a series of attacks forces Garm to decide to put one of the GDL’s fleets in danger, or let the Republic pay in blood.

I think that I will be throwing my weight into this poll behind Magic of the Force. I enjoyed getting back into that world after so many months. And because this is the first poll of September, I will be ending it by the 5th. That will give me time to finish it, then start the large story poll winner before then working on the Patron Only poll winner.
