Hey everybody, hope the last few days of August are treating you all well and that you are keeping cool, hot (which obviously depending on where you are in the world), and above all, safe and sound.

Horse for the Force is done. It took me another 6,000 words and then an extra day to go through with Grammarly, but I think that the first small story chapter of this work will at the very least be interesting and humorous enough to grab your attention, LOL. That means it's time to close the HP-only update poll.

The winner was Death’s Avenger with 3,035 votes, beating out Fate which brought in 2,272.

However, working on Horse and seeing the results of August's Update Me poll brought up a point that needs to be addressed now: I have too many stories going.

Vimesenthusiast waits for people to comment. The sudden silence and the looks of 'no duh, get on with it' actually hurting him physically. -20 to Health.

Er… Right, anyway. Moving on from that awkward moment, the fact is that some of my stories have suffered over time because I haven't been able to devote enough time one month to the next on them. ATP is an example of this, but I think both of my Star Wars stories have also suffered for it. Fate oddly didn't, and I'm quite proud of that fact, but the less said about A Semblance of Hope and God's Devils and Wild Horses, Oh My, the better. That is why I have attempted to correct this with small episode-style updates.

So My Idea Going Forward Is This:

One, I will put Sword, Bow and Horse on hold after the next update. I’ve mentioned this before, but that update will finish the story in Brune, and I feel that makes a good place to pause the story. Then, I will replace it in the Patron-only poll rotation with a 'how about an Episode of Death's Avenger and Semblance of Hope'. If that choice wins, I will write episode-style updates for both those stories that month. Since they are smaller updates, they are easier to work around my larger stories.  This will let me be able to finish Making Waves faster and S.O.H.

On the larger story side of things: As mentioned previously, I will be removing Horse for the Force from the large story polls. It will instead switch over to the small story poll. The large story polls will be between A Third Path to the Future and FILFy Teacher. Of the three larger Harry Potter stories I have going on, those two are much closer to being finished than Magic of the Force, which has only barely reached the halfway point at this juncture. Therefore, Magic of the Force will instead be part of the small story poll, and... well, I'll just pray my muse cooperates, really.

Finally, I am removing and putting GDWHOM on hold. That was the easiest choice to make, frankly, considering how poorly it's done in the polls. As a result, the small story polls will consist of four stories from now on: Stallion of the Line, Fate Touched in Middle Earth, Horse For the Force, and Magic of the Force.

Hopefully, with these changes, I can start to bring some of my stories to a close soon before moving on to new ideas or even continuing on some of my one-shots.

So, what do you think?

I'm losing/winning whatever is chosen since i pretty much like all your stories ^^.

In a way it feels like there is a lot of Ranma stories stifled. For the polls, if not done for long time, each such story should be win by default, so that we stay in the loop. Like with ‘A Horse for the Force’ took me a long time to get into it again, since wasn’t updated for some time. Or else too much happened. XD :( about GDWHOM! In a way this one should have been forced to be done. In a way it didn’t do poorly by ~300 votes or so. That’s not poorly. Poorly would be if only had gotten ~300 votes compared to the others. Well the only good thing about this, putting so many Ranma stories on hold, is that all Ranma voters will always pool together for Stallion of the Line…
